Many wineries in the area, underground too so make sure you book enough time to see it as it is all worth it.

Not the usual eggs, but melon with the typical Spanish jamon. Elvillar is a charming small village ( 300 inhabitants). The surprise is the village's swimming pool, which we could use as Casa Robla's guests. The main attraction are the beautiful city of Laguardia ( 10 minutes driving distance) and the many Rioja Wineries.

It is situated 22 km from Catedral de Santiago and provides a shared kitchen. The country house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Very friendly and helpful hosts, easy to reach them. House was spotless clean, bedroom was very spacious (very handy when travelling with a large dog). Good atmosphere and the location is great, also very close to the airport if travelling by car.

Set within 15 km of Funicular de Artxanda and 15 km of Catedral de Santiago in Mungia, Basoan offers accommodation with seating area. Basoan was one of the best accommodations we have ever been in. It was so quit & peaceful, but very close to the main attractions in the area. All the facilities were great, the stuff were so kind and the view was fantastic. Would recommend to everyone we know!

The accommodation is not directly on the Camino but the 15-minute detour was definitely worth it - what a lovely place! You can tell that the accommodation is run with a lot of love and attention to even the smallest details. Both my room and the common areas were beautiful, very clean and spacious. I would also like to mention the incredible owner - she made me feel welcome straight away and even took me to the nearest supermarket after a long day on the Camino! Once again, thank you. 😊 I would definitely come back!
