We loved the family feel and laid back atmosphere / nice decor for holidays and wonderful employees here ~~ was my husband and grown son and myself ~~ holiday time . unit was so clean and beds were very comfy. Our unit was nicely stocked with towels and kitchen apparatus - all you need for a visit or to cook basics. i am an allergy sufferer and noticed not the hint of anything to make allergies flare up. This property is full of genuinely nice peeps. thanks for a wonderful stay in the beautiful state of CA.

Beds were super comfortable. Washer and dryer were great. Wine, water, chips and popcorn were complimentary. Easy access from freeway. Just a really nice stay and we enjoyed. Coffee, tea,, cream and everything you need to make a hot drill was provided. That was super nice. The backyard was really nice.

This safe and quiet location in beautiful west Salinas was exceptional. Easy to access and well amended- spacious and clean rooms and everything and more in the kitchen for cooking family meals. The backyard has a lovely gathering spot and jacuzzi......a fun and sweet place to stay!

Exactly as described. Very warm and inviting, with lots of books for adults to read and games for the young ones to entertain themselves besides the tv. The location is nice, close to both Big Sur proper as well as Carmel Highlands/carmel by the sea. Well -stocked kitchen that allowed for us to cook while staying here.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.

Great location, can easily walk to many places that Monterey offers. Room was very spacious, with very high ceilings and a little fireplace and nice decor that made it feel cosy. Clean and well equipped. Appreciated wine and cheese at tea time. Breakfast was decent.
Nice renovated hotel keeps the original spirit. Clean, cosy with great ocean view rooms - extra money was worth it. We enjoyed some nice time by the fireplace watching otters play :) Staff is super nice and helpful.
I stayed for a conference since the conference hotel was booked and I’m so glad I did. My room had a cozy fireplace and a stunning view of the bay. The whole property is charming, as are the staff. Plenty of nooks to settle into in the public areas, too, though I didn’t have time for that. This is a lovely inn, and I’ve already rebooked for next year.
The location was perfect, near the aquarium, downtown and the beach.
The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. It was quiet.
The bathroom was perfect for our family with a nice bathtub and hot water. The "fireplace" heater was nice and cozy.
The coffee machine was clean and worked fine.
There was even a little patio in the common area outside with couches where you could spend time with friends.
I was really impressed by this hotel quality and would happily return.
Convenience. Walk to Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row Shops and Eateries. Fireplace in room is warm and cozy. Microwave in room is also handy for instant food.
