The host is so friendly, the location is convenient (but not so safe), the house is clean, and the WIFI is stable. It is a cozy and comfortable house. We will recommend it if you are not a foreigner.
To be honest, at the beginning, we thought the host will be a guy (the picture showing on her email profile seems to be xd), so we were a bit worried since we did not notice the host will stay in the same house downstairs before we booked it. But, with her kind explanation about that, although we are using the same entrance for the front door, we actually have an independent door and flat that is completely separated! The most important thing is, since we are 2 girls, it is so nice when we notice the host is a she, and she is living with her mother, making us relieved when we arrived.

Much much better than expected (after reading previous reviews). Cozy place, great neighbourhood! We were 5 people and the place was spacious enough. Be careful not to put all your suitcases and backpacks on the top floor bedroom, because there isnt much space on the floor! Cute backyard, nice place to relax. Spacious living room with some fun board games for you and your friends. All amenities we needed in the kitchen were provided. Hot water 24/7 with high pressure in the bath tub. Some people might not like the style of this historic house, but we liked it. Also it's 2 blocks away from the subway that goes to WTC in 7 minutes. All in all we had a great stay and we missed the place when we left.

When we arrived, we were really surprised by the quality of the apartment! It's a bit special to share the bathroom and toilet, but everything was very clean. The apartment has a large kitchen equipped with lots of little snacks and biscuits offered by the host, there's also a nice coffee machine perfect for morning coffees!

Liked the cleanliness. The Bathroom was equipped with everythig that is needed for an ideal bathroom. Not much space in the closet to store the clothes, but does the job.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The room was cozy and clean. The hotel is in a very good location, 5 minutes walk to the metro station and shopping center. Staff helpful. There was no problem with changing the room.
The place is quiet and comfortable and in close proximity with New York City only 10 - 15min away by bus, also self catering if you need to cook and have meals for budget sensitive traveling, I loved the fact that there was a gas stove a fridge and cutlery, I would come back to this place again and again.
The apartment was cozy as advertised. The staff was friendly and helpful during the stay which made our stay great. Will book with them again when we have a chance to be back in the city.
Location is awesome. Took mostly a ferry (path in evenings) and it takes only 5 minutes to reach Manhattan (World trade center). The vicinity is exceptional - waterfront with Manhattan view, coffee in nearby Gregory`s coffee and the sound of the river.
The room itself is mostly renovated, cozy and very clean. Perfect place for several days.

The renovated room is fantastic - its modern design and fresh finishes create a cozy atmosphere. Moreover, having a kitchen is a huge plus, allowing us to comfortably prepare meals. Highly recommended!
Beautifully decorated rooms with extremely comfy beds. Clean and cosy plus the nespresso machine was a nice bonus for a morning coffee. Short walk to the stunning Jersey City waterfront with the best views of lower Manhattan. Location is right beside PATH station so easy access to Manhattan.
The hotel us of a high standard. Clean and cozy room, hot breakfast and free parking. The staff is very friendly. We came a bit earlier and the manager let us check in earlier as the room wasn't occupied. The facilities in the hotel are great! There are a lot of opportunities to get to New York city center.
