Cute house. Extremely well equipped and clean. Great starting point to explore. Only downside is the neighbouring houses that are run down. But the hosts made us feel comfortable.

The Cozy Island Cottage was an excellent stay for us traveling to Folly Beach and Charleston. The owners were very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate too.

This place is somewhat like being in a tree house. It is high up above the back half of the house and has a fantastic view of tranquility and calm. Here you can shut off the stress and enjoy the quiet. The apartment itself is cozy with a large bed facing the windows with a view over the back half of the yard. The TV is mounted above the fireplace.
The kitchen is really no nonsense. There is no running water in the indoor dining area but there is a refrigerator,
a table for 2, a coffee machine, and a microwave.
A real plus for this place is the outdoor kitchen for your pivate use including a large propane grill and running water with sink, refrigerator, and flat screen TV. There is enough furniture to easily sit 6 people for a nice grill evening.
There are two very comfortable chairs on the other side of the main entrance that are perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or reading a book.
All in all, a very nice place for a romantic getaway.

We only stayed one night because we had rented a cottage on the Isle of Palms for our whole family. We were at the hotel because our family that lives in England was coming on Friday and we wanted to be there yo meet them

The Spectator is a beautiful, clean and very centrally located hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful -always available to answer questions or provide suggestions with kind hospitality. Our room was comfortable and spacious - the complimentary local snacks were a welcome treat and the bath products helped us feel pampered! Overall the perfect spot to return to after a few days exploring charming Charleston!

Beautiful hotel with many amenities. Breakfast, happy hour with wine and nighttime cookies had amazing varieties to choose from. The room was huge with a fireplace and full balcony. The staff were exceptional as they made all of our food and tour reservations. Location was within walking distance to the attractions we wanted to see.
Option to have breakfast in room, rooftop or lounge area. Great location and walkable area. Room was really nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Had a nice Juliette balcony with view of the bay. Enjoyed the evening wine reception and took the drinks to the cozy rooftop. Relaxing and romantic stay.
