I cannot understand the last review. There is no way you could score this place below 7.5 ( depending how clean it is ) ,well we found it spotless clean. The house itself is spacious , bright with huge windows and nice views , the layout is great with 2 living areas on different levels , connected thru a fully ( and i mean fully ) equipped kitchen ( there is literally nothing missing ...grinder , juice press , kettle , microwave , nescafé coffee machine , tons of pand , pots , different of type of knives ) , 3 nice big bright bedrooms , 1 bathroom with bath tub anc 1 bathroom with a jacuzzi jet stream shower which looked very fancy with tons of functions ( we didn't try so i cannot review it properly ) . In the basement are 2 more bedrooms which we ( family of 4) didn't use. Some of the areas are refurbished ( one living area and bedrooms , some areas remain in a 70s style, but nice furniture and decor was added) . For us it was a great and comfortable place with tons of space. The Tv feature streaming service like netflix, prime which was a added bonus. On the back side of the house you have a laundry room with washing machine. it was working as we washed clothes. Honestly after expecting the worst i was hugely surprised that's it's a nice Airbnb in a good location within 10 min walking from the beach. I stayed in many places all over the world, from fancy to basic , so i feel i
am in a position to evaluate quality - price-ratio with common sense.

Big house, beautiful, old but in perfect state, cosy and with all mod cons, clean, great views, friendly staff, gorgeous breakfast delivered every morning with enough food to cover lunch, the gardens are amazing, there are thousands of flowers everywhere, forest nearby, village nearby, beaches, Viana, the pool is clean and in a private place, there were other guests but privacy and peace.
Sensational place for a quiet family holiday. Well maintained garden with swimming pool. Cottage very functional and well equipped with all the necessary appliances - toaster, coffee maker, kettle, iron, blender. Clean and fragrant bathroom and pool towels. Great base for exploring Porto and the nearby beaches. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful. And then there are the wonderful and extremely helpful caretakers of the property😘😘.
Everything was beautiful. The building is old, with original stonework visible but sympathetically restored. From the front entrance door, the style and high standard is apparent. Beautiful spacious room, double aspect with shutters, clean and nicely scented. Communal kitchen and dining area are so modern, spotless and stylish. Located in the centre of town but no street noise once inside. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely beautiful 15th century property. Elegantly furnished and everything you could possibly need was supplied. Breakfast was delicious in a most gorgeous setting. We were upgraded to one of the cottages, which was delightful. All of the rooms looked inviting and cozy.

It's been years since I've felt a place deserved a review. AP Dona Aninhas is top tier and deserves 5 stars. The wellness area is perfectly laid out, encompassing steam room, heated pool, hot tub, sauna and sensation shower. The restaurant serves fresh, high quality meals and the bar is well stocked. Exceptionally clean in all areas and smells divine. We'll without a doubt stay here when we return to Viana.
The beautiful gardens surrounding this charming refurbished farm house are perfect for relaxing! The pool is even large enough to swim. The rooms are cozy and all cooking amenities are available in a communitary kitchen. Our hosts were lovely and spoiled us with a substantial breakfast. The house is located at a short drive (or still walkable distance) from the beaches and in proximity of hiking trails and the nice coastal town of Viana do Castelo.
The accommodation is right in the middle of the historic town centre. We had breakfast at the open window overlooking the square each morning. A very well-equipped communal kitchen and dining area is available for self catering or even just a cup of coffee. The interior of the old building has been charmingly renovated with a loft-type flair.
