Everything was superb. The hotel is very charming, the staff are very friendly. Spa, restaurants and view are just amazing. It was hard to leave… definitely coming back.
This immaculate two bedroom apartment is in a beautiful, modern home with new furniture and cabinetry throughout. The kitchen is very well stocked with high quality cooking supplies and lots of elegant glassware and dishes. The spacious bathroom has a modern shower and spotlessly clean granite and tile. It was truly a treat to stay in a place that felt like a home away from home.
For us the location was good because we planned to visit Paiva Walkways. Otherwise the location is on the countryside and you should own a car to get there. Really nice and calm environment. Only few rooms so you can enjoy silence.
Pool was small but very appreciated after the hike.

Lovely building, well integrated in the beautiful nature. Nice indoor pool, steam room and sauna outlooking the Duoro river. There were fireplaces around the hotel, making it a very cosy atmosphere.
The cleaning staff left treats each evening in the room. Good breakfast.
