We loved our stay in Bellano. The property is right across the street from a small public beach and I loved that the property had chairs and some floaties that we could use there. I was excited to use the bicycles, but the road is quite busy so we opted to ride them early in the morning when there was less traffic.
We had a group of 8 and it was nice to be able to have rooms close together. The rooms were charming and clean. The property is wonderful--my favorite feature is the patio with a view. So beautiful! The town of Bellano is small. Things closed early and there weren't a lot of restaurant options, but we bought our own groceries and ate on the patio, which was so much better! Our stay here was so relaxing! We took the train from Bellano to Varenna and then took the ferry to Bellagio. We also visited the nearby waterfall orrido di bellano. It was nice, but nothing spectacular (compared to many we have seen.) There was a nearby cemetery that was fascinating to explore. We enjoyed visiting Bellagio and Varenna, but I think we enjoyed playing at the nearby beach just as much.
Valle de Mulini was a great find. Our check in was easy and we felt very well taken care of.
I would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough about this amazing and beautiful Villa! The views are just breathtaking! The Villa itself is spacious, clean, open and airy. The outdoor space is perfect! There are restaurants within walking distance. Gloria was so pleasant, attentive and informative. She was so helpful with any questions we had.

It was an absolutely lovely experience to stay with Elizabeth. The lodge is amazing, bed comfy and toilet and bath clean and cozy. The view from the bed is breathtaking. We had both sunny and rainy days - it didn’t matter, with a car we could easily get to town and we mainly just enjoyed overlooking Lake Como and trying the very nice and warm jacuzzi under the stars. An easy 10/10 experience.

This was a lovely apartment. A little old fashioned in its way yet charming. Views over the lake, stunning, garden tended by the couple who lived above. The weather changed rapidly but the heating was sublime, we were very cosy and warm, no daughts either. Absolutely loved it here and sad to leave!
