We have enjoyed the property, the place is a bit smaller than i expected, nonetheless, it is warm, bright and cosy, we loved the coffee, tea and bread that left for us, since we didn't have a chance to pop over to the supermarket. the rooms are clean and with lovely decor, everything and more are there. we definitely recommend the property should anyone are staying in wakefield.

The friendly staff The location near shops and town centre. The delicious food served in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and served. The room was quiet and comfy. Yet the pub and restaurant were just 10 yards away with plenty of music and buzz. Plenty of free parking for guests .Overall The Mews was excellent. It was exactly an English cottage inn with fabulous staff, excellent food and a very comfy and cosy ambience.
A nicely presented cosy cottage, well equipped and decorated. Lounge diner with large TV, central heating and a nice convection fire to keep everyone snug and warm. Two reasonable sized bedrooms and a modern bathroom.
A rural feel to the area but perfectly placed, The Bay Horse pub just a minute away and Wakefield centre 10 minutes by car. Take a walk to Newmiller Dam, more pubs and restaurants.
It was cosy & the surroundings were beautiful. Lots of lovely biscuits, teas, coffees & hot chocolates. Lots of cutlery & pans if we wanted to cook. the cottage was clean and very nice.
A beautiful location hidden away in the Wakefield countryside. Very picturesque and perfect for a romantic mini break! The food was incredible! We had dinner there the night we arrived and it was delicious.
My partner left his wallet in the spa on the day we left. The staff we very helpful and professional about returning it safely.
