Beautifully decorated - the photos don’t do it justice. Excellent facilities in every room . This is a beautiful cottage full of character , enhanced by the decor and decorative items in the rooms. The hosts very thoughtfully provide eveything you need to make hot drinks and toast . Very nice friendly hosts who went out of their way to check everything was OK. There is a lovely small decked area which is very private and decorated with lights and plants which have been well maintained . You can tell a lot of thought and effort has gone into this cottage .

Firstly, let me say that the property itself and the stay myself and my 7 friends had was amazing. The friendly staff The location near shops and town centre. The delicious food served in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and served. The room was quiet and comfy. Yet the pub and restaurant were just 10 yards away with plenty of music and buzz. Plenty of free parking for guests .Overall The Mews was excellent. It was exactly an English cottage inn with fabulous staff, excellent food and a very comfy and cosy ambience.
A nicely presented cosy cottage, well equipped and decorated. Lounge diner with large TV, central heating and a nice convection fire to keep everyone snug and warm. Two reasonable sized bedrooms and a modern bathroom.
A rural feel to the area but perfectly placed, The Bay Horse pub just a minute away and Wakefield centre 10 minutes by car. Take a walk to Newmiller Dam, more pubs and restaurants.
It was cosy & the surroundings were beautiful. Lots of lovely biscuits, teas, coffees & hot chocolates. Lots of cutlery & pans if we wanted to cook. the cottage was clean and very nice.
A beautiful location hidden away in the Wakefield countryside. Very picturesque and perfect for a romantic mini break! The food was incredible! We had dinner there the night we arrived and it was delicious.
My partner left his wallet in the spa on the day we left. The staff we very helpful and professional about returning it safely.
Charming little cottage with all you need for a stay including a table and chairs in the garden. The location is outstanding: quiet and peaceful but so close to the beautiful dam.
