Excellent property equipped and furnished to a very high standard, lovely location, information given for entry into gated drive and gate house easy to follow, lovely pub The Grapes Inn at East Calder two miles away for great food.
Highly recommend the gate house, if up this way again will definately stay here again.

Glamping Pod had everything you needed and more. Hotel standard amenities - tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Beds were extremely comfy.
Pods are surprisingly warm even in the chilly October weather.

Everything was as expected in the description prior to booking.
The free parking to the rear of the property was excellent.
The property was of a good standard and bigger than the pictures suggested. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Because I read these reviews before traveling, I booked an extra night at this remarkable property. They sent me this review to fill out for my second booking and I will use it to continue to sing the praises of this unique stay. If you want to feel like royalty, stay here your last nights before flying out of EDI Airport. If you always look up when you hear an airplane engine, this is a little spot of heaven. The property is equipped with a central sound system for those who aren't thrilled with the sound of planes, so no worries about noise pollution intruding upon the peace and tranquility. If you have the soul of a daydreamer .... book this property and you will never regret your choice! I didn't get to light fires in the two fireplaces so a return trip is due to experience that bit of magic! Many thanks to the incredible hosts for making this property available to the hopeless romantics and perpetual daydreamers of the world....

Lovely, comfortable well equipped bungalow. Close to train station for getting to Edinburgh, near to supermarket. Location great for other car outings to local attractions. Love all the walkways/cycle routes thru the houses to parks and rivers, lots of wild flowers and so quiet and peaceful.
Absolutely wonderful studio appartment, it's even so much nicer than in the photos! Everything neat, pretty and clean in calming colours.
More than enough towels large and medium nicely put on the bed. Boxbed with practical convenient height. The bathroom has been redone and gives a warm and cozy feeling. Enough light irradiation throughout the entire studio.
No noise from neighbours or neighbourhood at all (we must admit we were only there for one night sunday going on monday). Private parking space. Thank you, we had a nice stay!
The hotel is located close to Edinburgh Airport in a relatively quiet area. Walking is possible in the surroundings. One lady from the welcome desk was really charming and competent.

The spa facilities are a great bonus - nice swimming pool, sauna and steam room. I didn't use the gym.

Quite neighbourhood. Very spacious Lodge with beautiful sun room and relax furniture. Sweet garden with table and chairs.. Contempory kitchen with freezer and washing machine. Everything you need is there. Also close to very big shopping center and other activities like castles and 40 minutes from Edinburgh.
I can't compliment the staff enough. They were all great. Friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. The pool and sauna was a great place to relax . The bar area was cosy and the breakfast was delicious. The setting was very atmospheric while walking the dog around the grounds. A really enjoyable stay.
