Lovely warm welcome at this beautiful guesthouse. Attention to detail with decor and art is so impressive. We had a locally sourced cheese and charcuterie platter for dinner which was delicious. Breakfast also fantastic. Gorgeous view of the forth from our room. I plan to come back soon!

The pod was very cosy and comfortable. The breakfast pack was great. Liz was amazingly helpful and even provided sledges so we could sledge in the snow. Shame we were only staying for one night. We'd love to spend a few nights here in the future.

Location was perfect to visiting Edinburgh, Stirling and Falkirk. Views from the hot tub are fantasic and the space and layout of lodge are well suited to a family.

Beautiful old cottage-style gate lodge, renovated to a high standard. As we were fortunate to be the first rental guests everything was spotless (bar a little dust that had settled!). Helen, the National Trust estate manager, was wonderful, very approachable, communicative and went out of her way to help and solve teething problems!

Very peaceful setting and easy parking. Lovely personal touches included by the owner to make you feel very welcome and at home. Second time we have stayed here and won't be the last.
