Liquorice lodge was lovely and comfortable, beds were soft (not what I’m used to but comfortable all the same), everything was up to date and fresh. We travelled as two families and the kids were happy with the house too.

Donna and Sally make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. They are really lovely and kind and they run the hotel and pub to a high standard. They cater for everyone and nothing is to much trouble. The free breakfast is lovely and the whole place is lovely, warm and cozy. I will definately stay again if I'm in the area. All the best Donna and Sally! :)
