Very quiet at night and great location - you can walk along canal path into city centre in 15 mins or so.
Good parking, good bathrooms, everything worked. Nice breakfast food provided. Good communication from host.

The property is a good size with plenty of beds and bedrooms. It’s very convenient for getting into Leeds. It’s really perfect for family.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Liquorice lodge was lovely and comfortable, beds were soft (not what I’m used to but comfortable all the same), everything was up to date and fresh. We travelled as two families and the kids were happy with the house too.
Lovely little terraced house with everything you need to self cater. Perfect for us as a base to see family.
I had some trouble with the booking forms / app and the host was super quick at responding.
Location was great for me. Lovely cosy hotel with friendly and pleasant staff. Meals and drinks are great value.

Donna and Sally make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. They are really lovely and kind and they run the hotel and pub to a high standard. They cater for everyone and nothing is to much trouble. The free breakfast is lovely and the whole place is lovely, warm and cozy. I will definately stay again if I'm in the area.
