McNeil was excellent - he arranged our airport transfer, our restaurant booking, storage of our luggage, etc. He was extremely professional and helpful. The rooms are very spacious with lots of comforts like plunger coffee, nice large soap, shampoo, body lotion bottles. Soft fluffy towels. Service at Backs restaurant also very good - Mark took very good care of us.
This exclusive 5-star residence offers a solar-heated swimming pool and a wooden deck with views of the Franschhoek Mountains. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has an iPod Docking Station.

We love coming to Franschhoek for a relaxing time and good food. There are also some great stores in town to stock up on brands we dont have in Johannesburg. The wine experiences are excellent and restaurants never disappoint (we ate at Oku again this time). Its great to see how many international travels make their way to Franschhoek and I really with more would visist our beautiful country.

You have got to like wine, as this is the main attraction in the area. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty; the lovely vineyards are nestled within fabulous mountains.
Franschhoek itself is a very clean, upmarket town, crammed with dining and shopping options.

The drive through the valley into Franschoek is spectacular.
The drive through the valley into Franschoek is spectacular. The scenery is second to none with fabulous views everywhere. If you like being immersed in vineyards lovely, but very little else to do here except eat and drink. Relative to the rest of SA, including Stellenbosch, Franschoek proved expensive to eat out, but the quality was excellent. That said it was excellent elsewhere too. Parking was not too easy, although it is such a small centre of town a day would complete a tour with ease. (Including a long lunch).

A beautiful, small village nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. Go for the wine touring and fine dining. Try to visit the smaller, family owned vineyards for wine tastings, and tour the larger estates for their architecture, gardens, and vistas.

Exceptionally well located. Close enough to walk to anything you’d need, yet away from the noise of the Main Street.
The hosts were incredible, exceptionally comfortable room and amazing bathroom with underfloor heating.
Solar panels ensured we didn’t experience any form of LoadShedding.
The breakfast also outdid breakfasts at well known/established hotels in the area.
Overall 10/10. Will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Franschhoek!
We booked the chalet up on the mountain which had the best views, sunrise and sunset was amazing, the room was private and away from the main hotel building allowing privacy. The kitchen was well appointed and great for self catering purposes.
Unfortunately Franschhoek was flooded just before our arrival. The hotel arranged for us to stay at a sister hotel at short notice and promptly refunded our funds for the unused nights. Great communication and assistance
A beautiful new hotel in the centre of stunning Franschhoek – we had a wonderful stay! The managers were extremely helpful and accommodating, we'd love to stay again
Amazing hotel in the heart of Franschhoek! The facilities were incredible, but the staff are what made the place. Very warm, welcoming and accommodating.
