We were welcomed by Cameron the Manager on our arrival, and it was obvious to us to see he was very proud of the hotel he managed as he checked us into our room Everything was beautiful and the standards were incredibly high. The detail of the premises were next to none the lounge, the pool and breakfast were just amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel for any visit to Franschhoek .Very close to the Main Street and the vineyard's.

We have visited Fanschhoek since 2009 and love the place. It is a lovely location with spectacular views and the most amazing collection of top restaurants and vine yards. The location is safe to walk about in or you can drive or get the tram which drops you off at the various vine yards. The town has a great supply of good, excellent hotels catering to every budget. Most of the restaurants need booking in advance to avoid disappointment or not getting the time you prefer. People seem to eat early in Franschhoek so definitely worth booking in advance of your trip. if you are into shopping there are tourist shops but also some lovely cloth shops with unique outfits you can’t get in other places. The most outstanding thing is the wine, quality, variety and value.

We were pleased to be based just outside the centre of Franschhoek as it was a busy place.
There were plenty of places to park for free.
Several supermarkets and loads of restaurants to choose from across all price brackets.
Restaurant reservations are necessary at all restaurants in the evening.
Many vineyards to visit using the tram.
As hikers, we loved our visit to the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve.

You have got to like wine, as this is the main attraction in the area. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty; the lovely vineyards are nestled within fabulous mountains.
Franschhoek itself is a very clean, upmarket town, crammed with dining and shopping options.

La Cotte is a breathtakingly beautiful place - the setting was unparalleled and too picturesque to even begin to describe - we adored it. We stayed in a self catering cottage which had the added bonus of a gorgeous verandah complete with fireplace with logs and everything needed to make a beautiful fire, and we looked out onto the most beautiful verdant lawn with gorgeous pool, and a forest in which we saw owls and other birds
We absolutely loved our stay at 7 Koppies, we loved the luxury of the room and all the personal touches, without feeling we were in a hotel, we loved the homely, everyone is welcome feel!
The staff were exceptional and so accommodating! Views are stunning, homely food was delicious! Great location for Franschhoek and Stellenbosch!

The views are incredible, the state is beautiful, the hotel is trendy and comfortable. Very nice pool. Franschhoek is a short drive away. We really enjoyed the wine. The staff made it extra special. They were welcoming, attentive and went beyond customer service.
