Great location very close to the beach. Apartment was clean & had all the necessary amenities needed for a weekend away.

The staff were outstanding! Very friendly and efficient. The food at the restaurant was amazing! The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! Seeing the small springbokkies run around at night is an extra bonus and so beautiful to see. Sitting at the fireplace at night listening to the waves crashing in the background was very relaxing!

Absolute nothing!!!!The foto u show here and view is misleading....the tiny little house that we were to stay was as small as a normal bathroom no plugs only two single beds that i would not sleep on.no toilet no washbasin sement PANDOKKIE....a absolute disgrace to charge R750 for a place like that p.n ...still have not received my refund ... we did not sleep there and had to run around till late to found a place to sleep for the night.
DEFINITELY NOT SUITABLE FOR ELDERS!!! Or for that matter normal traveler's for a good night rest.

Elands Bay is a quiet, remote little town on the West Coast with a beautiful, long sandy beach. There isn't much going on at any given time, even during holidays, so probably not the place for you if you like very busy social holidays with lots of entertainment options. The sea is a little cold for swimming (about 16 degrees Celcius when we were there) but it is a great place for windsurfing, kite surfing, fishing and other water sports (you will need a wet suit for most of this, though).
