The views are wonderful. Unit was excellent, very spacious. Buffet at Restaurant catered for a wide variety of foods. Activities are not included in pricing. There are however enough activities to keep children busy. Would have appreciated some guided walking tours around the area. Overall we had a lovely restful time. Staff was always friendly.

The scenery, tranquility of this place is perfect.
The scenery, tranquility of this place is perfect. There are ample activities for the kids a short walk away at Drakensberg Gardens Hotel. Once the pool renovations are complete at Fairways, the entertainment area will be perfect. Well maintained trails for hiking from Garden Castle at the end of the road. There is no real need to leave this resort however a few good coffee stops nearby.
We stayed in a very spacious 6 sleeper unit with the best beds and linen! Main bedroom with spacious ensuite, second room with two single beds and a loft room which kids will love with two single beds. Views from your bed, lounge and patio are incredible. Firewood is charged but delivered to your unit.
Very helpful friendly staff!
Can't wait to return.

This is a very scenic part of the country and i enjoyed my time here. I enjoyed travelling along the roads and taking photos of the scenery. The mountains are changing all the time so i enjoyed watching the weather changing by the hour.

Its an excellent location with clean big timeshares. Excellent activities and facilities for adults and kids. The road there has quite a few potholes so use a strong vehicle. An old-style hotel with a choice of restaurants. Lovely Spa facilities.

We had our kids both under 10 and we were overly excited seeing the number of activities the place had and having to participate also as a family,loved the pools,slides,hiking,the views,the Fresh air and our rooms were amazing and our baths ands kitchen.
We also had a lovely buffet dinner at the hotel,such a lovely spread and food was delicious
I was in a self-catering unit and cannot comment on the breakfast. The collection of the keys was seamless and thank you to Abu for the kind hospitality. Just a suggestion if you are booked to stay at the entrance of the resort maybe use the hotel reception as a collection point. Travelling to the fairways reception is not convenient.

Although the property is not inside Drakensberg Gardens Resort, it's just outside the gates. There is a gate pass that accessible so there is no need to pay an entrance fee to the resort.
The property has two fireplaces.

Great venue but nothing much to do except hotel planned activities. Load shedding was annoying but not the hotel's fault which did have measures in place to help.
