From the half hour wait at the gate ...amid plenty of lies from the owner and the manager!!. The manager Neville decided to give our room away to a regular who had just arrived. We had booked the last room on Booking.com. The manager and the owner had different versions which did not tie up. We were then given another room which was dirty and was right on the main road...heavy trucks came rushing past about 5 meteres from the bed head.

The onsite Deli & Restaurant were an unexpected bonus. We had a meal delivered to our room just before they were closing. The garden is spacious & children & dog friendly. The restaurant functions as a coffee house with al fresco tables.

We got more than what we expected for the price we paid. The attention to detail was outstanding. The room, bedding layout with limited space, and outside facilities are picture perfect, nead, and clean. Quite and peaceful environment, and your car is very safe. From the treats on the bed as welcome gifts to the quality rusks with lovely coffee and fully equipped kitchenette to have your own braai, with privacy was so satisfying. Highly refferable, and if we do visit Cradock again, will we not even consider looking for another place. James was welcoming and a very good host.
