The hotel is new, modern, clean with large rooms. It is easy to access, has good WIFI, strong showers and secure parking. The staff were friendly and despite having limited English all my needs were met. It's next to food places but you'll need a motorbike to get around as it's too far to walk into town. 5 min drive to town.

Vinh Long is a great city for tourists, as you experience local life easily. There are nearly no other tourists around, we only saw one other group on our 2 day trip. The city has great places to eat and is easy to discover by bike.
The Bus station can be reached via West Bank Station in Ho Chi Minh.
We were very grateful that the home stay Mekong Pottery offered organized trips and also the options to have dinner at the home stay. There was a lot of information provided on the website. The host was always present and open for answering our questions. We recommend the trips we booked via the home stay a lot! We had a great stay. The room and the outdoor bathroom are beautifully made and fit the surroundings so well. It's a little oasis for travellers.

It is a lovely place to stay for one night or two during a Mekong delta trip as there is not so much to do there. If you enjoy long walk, cycling, fishing and good food, then it is definitely worth stopping in Vinh Long on the way to Can Tho. People are really friendly and it is very relaxing there.

The room was very clean and the bathroom had been newly renovated. The extensive gardens, with plenty of seating, were very nice. Excellent breakfast and very helpful host, who booked our onward travel. We appreciated the bicycle hire (50 VND for entire stay), which was perfect for exploring the beautiful, unspoiled island. 10 minute walk to the Vinh Long ferry, so a great location for seeing the town as well as the island. Good value for money.
Very laid back homestay near the Mekong river. Just be aware that every add-on comes at a fee. Dinner 200k/p. The owner runs his own boat trip for 500k/p, bringing you on his boat to visit a pottery factory, a rice paper factory, a bee's farm, and a private orchard for fruits, and also includes lunch. Both meals we had were delicious, home-cooked food. We had transport arranged through the owner too.
We really loved the host and her family and the way they took care of us during our stay. We enjoyed the tour organised by her and would recommend it to everybody as it shows the live in the Mekong Delta and Vinh Long in a different way. And try the food, it is amazing!
We loved being able to stay in a homestay with such a lovely family. Their warmth and hospitality made it a truly lovely stay, especially as it was for Christmas!
The food was delicious and Oanh was super at arranging a boat trip and moto scooter to the bus station.
All the food was amazing and the service provided was beyond what you expect. We arrived late and they helped us getting to the homestay. Very happy and helpful people
