Adorable boutique hotel offering a luxe getaway in Ninh Binh! Loved the embroidery everywhere and we even picked up two embroidered pillow cases to take home! The staff was extremely helpful and arranged a car for us once they learned of our plans to help make our logistics easier. Everything here is amazing and comfortable…. The hosts are some of the nicest sweetest people you will ever meet…. Beds are comfy hot water with good pressure and the house is very cool with a nice pool for a dip after a hot day of touring around town. I really can’t say enough about the people that host this place anything you need they are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate the guests. Highly recommend Tam CoC Hotel when you are staying here it’s like staying with family.

We loved this place, quiet and beautifully situated on a mountainside with a lovely garden and small pool. The staff was very helpful and made us feel at home. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The location is excellent: 15 minutes on foot from the center. We rented a motorbike at the hotel so that we could discover the many hidden gems in the wide area. You can also use bicycles for free.

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.
