This amazing heritage Hotel is a little gem in old Bukhara. It is tastefully decorated and you are immediately propelled in the atmosphere of ancient times. The suite was immaculate and very beautiful with all the amenities of a 5* hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and really excellent while you sit facing a magnificent niche. To me, it was like in a fairytale, because this place is totally embedded in this
ancient city and I one can easily imagine how it must once have been on the silk road at caravan times. The location is simply top, because it is very central, although very quiet. I can only recommend this extraordinary and genuine place that mirrors a family history of 5 generations. It is an unique experience no one should miss in Bukhara…

Sergie and his wife were exceptional hosts making us feel so welcome, special and helped. They are also delightful company and full of life, ideas and conversation. Sergie comes from a family of academics, was himself a teacher and has a wonderful way of putting things. Terrific value for money. The hotel is incredibly ornate and old world, the breakfast lovely. The location is a bit far from the action but taxis are very cheap and readily avilable.

Bukhara is steeped in history and a wonderful place to visit, especially for travelers who've heard the old tales of Bukhara. The authorities have enhanced tourists' experience by creating nice walkways, restaurants beside ancient water bodies, nice hotels tucked into the surrounding alleys and clean surroundings around ancient restored monuments. Shopping for local handicrafts is easy because the younger generation speak good english, unlike the older generation. But a guide to help you traverse through the labyrinths of history and explain it all in detail is essential. A MUST-VISIT place.

Lovely city....can be explored quickly in 1 day also, but needs two days for a detailed exploration and soaking in the vibes. Temperature during day time was much higher than other cities in Uzbekistan. Take precautions before going in the harsh sun.

Beautiful city with an old world charm.
Beautiful city with an old world charm. Most attractions are within walking distance if you stay in the old town near Lyabi Hauz area. It's fun getting lost in the narrow old streets. Many options to eat. Chalet at the main square is quite good for both Uzbek and International food.
Try and do your shopping away from main areas, else you will have to pay premium prices for the same products that are available for less at a little distance.
Avoid visiting in peak summer. If you do, try and stay indoors during peak sun time.

This hotel is spotlessly clean and has absolutely superb decor. It is very beautifully done. There are nice patios to sit. The room was modern and bright. The breakfast was really, really good quality compared to most places we stayed in Uzbekistan. The staff are very friendly and proactive and really very nice. The hotel is relatively new. It is in very handy location right next to everything but in a street behind so it is quiet.
The hotel is in an old Madrasa which has been beautifully restored and tastefully decorated and furnished.
The breakfast was the best we had in Uzbekistan. The local dumplings and turnovers were prepared fresh and served hot right out of the oven! The apricot and crabapple jams were delicious on the fresh goat cheese!
Staff was super helpful and assisted us in booking train tickets for future portions of our travel.
One of the best places we have stayed in Uzbekistan.
The hostel is perfectly clean, comfortable and well located to visit the old city.
The breakfast is amazing and prepared with a lot of love.
The staff is also amazing.
I would recommend everyone to stay here to visit Bukhara!
The host is a very kind person and very helpful, he shared numerous tips with us and made our stay very memorable. The breakfast room is a must visit in Bukhara! Probably our best stay in Uzbekistan and fully recommended !!
