We went on a eating tour. It was great to go on. They to you to a couple of different places to try new things. It was great. I would love to do that again.
The easiest way to get around Richmond is by foot. That is if you aren't going to far from where you are starting. Other wise it is hard to find a parking place that you don't have to pay for.
Look up on the internet and check it out. It has a lot to do with.

I happened to be there on a Monday, a day on which several museums and shops are closed. To be fair to Richmond, I wouldn't judge it based on one rainy day in December. I've no doubt it's a pretty city in the warmer months.

Richmond has the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, a really nice museum with a great selection of art. The Science Museum and Children's Museum are nearby. Many good restaurants and lovely neighborhoods.

We stayed in the Short Pump area where our daughter recently moved. Loved the whole area. Beautiful trees, walking trails, area is clean, felt safe, tons to do. Plan to come back and visit a bunch of historic sites next time too!

The location of the hotel downtown was perfect for me to visit the historical sites in the city. There were plenty of eateries and bars/pubs in the immediate area surrounding the hotel. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The allocated room was a good size and very comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast provided by the hotel was good with juice, coffee/ tea, yogurt, pastries, cereal etc.
Staff was welcoming and nice. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. The overall facility and room was clean and the number of towels was adequate for our group. We understand the hotel is undergoing some changes (installation of Comcast, small fridge not integrated in the counter)... that was OK. The coffee machine in the breakfast room was interesting but disappointing... watered down taste.
Great location. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with providing good places to eat. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Free wifi and parking were very good. The free breakfast was ok. I would recommend this hotel and if Richmond again I will be staying here.
The breakfast was amazing, the hotel was clean, everyone was polite, the only problem I had, was housekeeping kept coming to the room, they started at 9:30, and again around 10:30, to the point I called downstairs to make sure check out time was 12:00.
