The food at the boardwalk plaza hotel restaurant was delicious and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. However it was a little pricey and they didn't change the menu.

The ambience was absolutely beautiful. The heated pool was an added benefit although it was really crowded. The arcade room and gym were both an add benefit.

Rehoboth Beach, the beach area itself, required you to pay for parking, if you could even find a spot. It was crowded and had a lot going on, most of which most people would consider positives - but I am not most people.
The larger community had a lot of traffic.
It also had excellent restaurants - both in terms of choices and quality. It had three outlet store centers, great both for walking and for shopping.
We also enjoyed driving a little in all directions and enjoyed Bethany Beach, Lewes and the surrounding area.

The Delaware State Park at the Inlet is 6 miles south. The beach there is quite lovely and the amenities are great; there are bathrooms, showers and a couple of options to purchase food and drink. The main road into town and the boardwalk are lined with lots of different types of shops with some unique items to purchase. The restaurants in Rehoboth are really good, with selections ranging from beach fries and subs to fine dining establishments. The diversity of people is amazing.

The beach and boardwalk appear to have a lot of fun activities, but there were absolutely no parking spaces available anywhere. Definitely needs more parking. Also, it took about 45 minutes to get to the boardwalk area from our hotel which was only 2 miles away. Horrible traffic - congestion needs to be addressed.

I liked the shops, the eateries the scenic views and the friendly atmosphere. I didn't like the parking meters which I wasn't aware of and received a ticket along with several other drivers. So beware of where you are parking!

Went to the beach after 5 when the heat dropped and the crowds cleared, and again in the morning to watch the sunrise. A nice breeze was blowing by the water, but further away it was much hotter with no breeze.

Beach at Gordon State Park was a beautiful well kept secret
Close enough to take day trips to Ocean City, Lewes, Bethany Beach and other nice visiting areas.
The room was large with 2 queen beds with a small kitchen area with microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. This worked out for us since we travelled with our pet. She had plenty of room to get around. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The location of the hotel was good.. right next to an Acme, liquor store, Jersey Mikes Subs and frozen yogurt shop. Also conveniently located within 15 minutes from restaurants and beach area.
The hotel was right on the beach, full of antiques, including in the rooms, & the food/service for breakfast was great. The parrots in the lobby was a special treat. My wife’s comment was that she would like to work there as a maid do she could visit all the rooms.
We were in Rohoboth for a wedding. The hotel was in a convenient area, with parking and the room was very comfortable. As we were only there one evening, we did not use any of the facilities like the pool, breakfast or gym.
