Location… loved watching the sea lions play, and the were not very loud even with the balcony door open at night and the fan on.
The jetted tub was so amazing and relaxing
We love Newport! The grandkids love visiting the Oregon Coast Aquarium & Marine Science Center. We always hit the shops on the bayfront, go for chowder at Mo's, visit the sea lions on the docks. We were able squeeze in a little beach time in between the rains and also drove up to Depoe Bay to whale & wave watch. (No whales spotted this time but the waves were impressive.) This trip we also had a delicious meal at Local Oceans. We enjoyed it all.

Newport has a little bit of everything.
Newport has a little bit of everything. Old Town, lovely to walk around and Local Ocean for lunch or dinner is a special must.
Nye Beach is our favorite place to stay. Walk to shops, stop by Nana’s for a pint and Brie cheese. The beach access is within one block. Great seafood at the Chowder Bowl.

We love Newport for the variety of beaches, close to our favorite shops and beautiful scenery.
Just being close to the beach from our Shilo Inn motel was a treat. Walking on the beach is one of our favorite things to do.
Seeing different points of interest such as Whale bones and city sculptures made every little walk interesting and filled with surprises.
Lee's Wok is great for Chinese food.
DQ for ice cream treats as well.
Gas was a great price.
A fun and beautiful relaxing adventure.

We enjoyed having restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores nearby. It was a very quiet town in the evenings. We simply love Newport Beach, Newport bay front, and the many attractions. We enjoyed the taverns downtown bay front area, the music and food. The sea lions were quite entertaining.

Newport is a town with historic value and many restaurants...
Newport is a town with historic value and many restaurants to choose from to eat. However, most of the stores and restaurants are only open Thursday through Sunday during the fall and winter months; and those open other days have reduced hours. There is a tapa Spanish restaurant in town that was the highlight of our trip. Great food and great service.

Very kind staff and breakfast is all day which I appreciated a lot as a night owl. They also offer free stationary which is great as someone on a budget who couldn't afford many souvenirs! The location is a hop and skip from most of Newport's notable attractions on both sides so its very conveniently located!
The room was great and the kitchen very well equipped. The view of the beach was fantastic. You could lie in bed and watch the ocean. The staff recommended restaurant in Newport was very good, fresh fish, fresh vegetables and rice.
