Great location next to beer distillery. Good restaurant there. Manager of hotel was exceptional to us motorcycle riders and we parked in breezeway.

The room was clean and the size was perfect for us four. Beautiful bright room with wide windows. I like that they have a Keurig coffee machine in the room. The pool was located at another building but I liked that I feel safe, card is needed to get inside. The pool was clean and temp was perfect,

Location was ok, many plugs and usb ports in room, it was good they provided cleaning spray and rags to clean your table before you eat, I wished restaurants would provide this.

Large comfortable room with great sea view. ComGood pool. Friendly staff. Nice food in restaurant.
The restaurants were great in Newport. The aquarium, while small, was done well. The city itself wasn't very appealing. Nothing like Cannon Beach for its charm. However, the property we stayed at Ocean House was so inviting, it more than made up for the lack of the town's desirability.

What an exceptional property with ocean views!
What an exceptional property with ocean views! The staff was so wonderful, attentive and friendly. We could've stayed so much longer than 3 days there. I would definitely recommend staying here! Beach access is a short distance away. The rooms are amazingly beautiful. We opened our doors to a gift basket of snacks and sparkling cider in the fridge to celebrate a birthday. Everything was quiet and clean. Balcony views are afforded to every room there so you never have to worry about not getting those amazing ocean views. Great dining a short distance away.

I love the real working environment.
I love the real working environment. Places like Cannon Beach or Seaside seem like tacky tourist places whereas Newport is a real working area with loads of commercial fishing vessels in and out of the port during the day. There are enough places to do the usual tourist type things, but they don't dilute the genuine working feel of the City.

Nice part of town is down by marina.
Nice part of town is down by marina. Local Ocean and Clearwater have great food/fish. Cute little town up the coast is Depot Bay with smallest marina in Oregon. Otter Rock, The Flying Dutchman winery, Yaquina Head Lighthouse and Sea Lion Caves south towards Florence are worth visiting.

Newport has a lot to offer. Great beaches, history, a wonder aquarium and a world class Marine Science Center.
Restaurants with really fresh seafood and other options. Brew pubs to fine dining.
Just walking the docks is fun.

The rooms are huge with sea views and fantastic balconies. Staff are very friendly, I’d messed the dates up and they helped us out without any issues. Easy walk down to the beach. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but it’s a short walk to plenty of options. Breakfast was good. Getting the jacuzzi in the room seemed a bit much but it was a good choice, especially in early Oct when it was getting a bit cold outside. Dog friendly hotel so expect to see lots of dogs on the ground floor.
