Staff at front desk when we checked in was friendly. The room was spacious for our family of 5. The beds were comfortable to sleep on. The water pressure in the shower was nice and strong. Good location.

Spacious condo with everything you might need including wonderful ocean views and a great shared pool and very helpful hosts. A few top quality roadside stalls near to for bread flowers and excellent Burritos. The day we left we sat on the balcony (huge) looking at the sea and just wished we had a few more days.

The apartment was clean, but the apartment complex was poor and dated. While Booking.com gave it a 4-star rating, I believe a 3-star rating would be more appropriate. The air conditioning units were extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the building's construction allowed significant noise transfer from upper floors, resulting in a disruptive sleep..

We have been coming to Kona for more than 30 years, about every 2-3 years. This was our first since 2021. Kona has changed greatly. Many small businesses and restaurants have disappeared and town has lost it's uniquness. Most disappointing was the institution of VERY expensive parking throughout the town (with tax, almost $15 per hour!). That stopped us from enjoying strolling through town, window shopping, enjoying ice cream or watching the sunset (parking used to be largely free. We spent our money for dinners at the Keahou shopping restaurants, where parking was free.

We have been coming for 30+ yrs in rotation. It’s always been a place we want to explore and it is definitely changing. There is still much to do and see….as well as no shortage of food.
Kona is definitely every individual should experience at least once in their lifetime.

Went swimming with Manta Rays at night in the Ocean! It was a beautiful experience!
It rained almost every day, but we just drove a few miles and always found sun somewhere on the island. The people were very friendly and hospitable.
We especially enjoyed eating dinner at Jackie Rays. The food and service are impeccable.

Overall experience was fantastic although when you are staying in Alii Dr., much better to walk around than drive since it is a 1 lane road and could be congested at times. Also, parking can tend to be a little on the pricey side.

Kailua-Kona is an attractive and historic town and shouldn't be missed despite it being rather touristy. Buying fresh fruit at the farmer's market in the middle of town is very convinient (apple bananas--yum!). There are many different activities available.

Really nice area. Close to lots of things.
Really nice area. Close to lots of things. My only issue was that the food was really expensive everywhere. Enjoyed Jackie Rey’s restaurant. Mantra ray experience was fantastic. Enjoyed Wasabi island tour. The people in the restaurants were all really nice. I would definitely go back.

Great accommodations at a great location. Although the building is a little dated, suite was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the quiet of a smaller resort and easy to enjoy both the regular and salt water pool with not many people. Minor problem with the faucet in kitchen but mgmt company was very responsive and had it replaced in a few hours. Walkable to town in 25 min, or catch the free trolley on the hour. Would stay here again.
The location of the hotel was perfect and directly in the heart of Kona City. A lot of restaurant 2-5 min walk. The garden was very nice. The resort offers a small but nice pool, a hottub and perfect working and clean gas BBQ grills for free use. The kitchen was well equipped and had a large fridge (wich had a few useful leftovers like souces and ketchup).
The bathroom was ok but not special.
