Hotel itself was very nice but people should have been told that staff was running late so they didn't know what time that breakfast would be ready. People were waiting 15+ minutes before someone said something. I'm thinking what if wanted to catch a bite before they headed out for an appointment. That 15 minutes could have caused them to be late. At least post a sign as soon as you know something so people can make other plans. NOBODY wants to be left wondering. It's understandable when things beyond someones control happen but it's not acceptable when you have control over a situation and you don't communicate.... a simple sign would work.

What a wonderful quaint little town.
What a wonderful quaint little town. It looks like a village in Germany. We arrived after dark and every building was decorated with white lights. I immediately loved it. There are all kinds of little shops, loads of unique items. Many restaurants, and lots of walking. I mean lots. End of October the days warmed up to a sunny 70-75. Quite nice. Nights however dropped to about 40-45. Take a Jacket. I would love to visit in December and see all the decorations.

It was a great experience.
It was a great experience. So much to do and very reasonable. Only issue was with parking. Our party were all elderly and walking was an issue. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone.
Dotties was a terrific restaurant--cat head biscuits were tremendous. The mountain coaster was eventful and very reasonable.
Lots a shops of all kinds. Ice cream shops were over the top. You just have to watch because they close at their own time not posted times. I recommend weekday visits if possible. Almost no lines or waits.
There are other towns close by that offer great things to do also.
Overall a definite destination especially if you like a wide variety of experiences.

It was a cute touristy attraction.
It was a cute touristy attraction. Be prepared for lines during the Oktoberfest weekends with traffic delays. Parking around town will cost you $10 in cash at all the lots. German food wasn't bad & there are a lot of beer selections.

Being winter tubing was out so shopping is the only thing to do there. Really cute town, great restaurants, but one day was pretty much long enough to see it. Very glad we went, another check-off on the bucket list.

Excellent staff!! Friendly, professional, accommodating and went out of their way to be helpful in every way!!
Clean well maintained facilities! Excellent location close to everything, yet situated to allow for the feeling of remoteness. Quiet and very pleasant site on the river!!
The front desk attendant was pleasant. The location of the hotel was great. Within walking distance of downtown and a little off the main road. Plenty of parking and would stay there again on my next trip.
Super cute houses matching the German style of the area. Only 4 rooms per house, so it was very quiet at night. Campfire at night. Good location, walkable distance from everything of interest in Helen.
We could not hear any traffic noise from our room and it was on ground level. We had a short walk to receive our breakfast in the mornings and go to the pool area, etc.
