Hotel itself was very nice but people should have been told that staff was running late so they didn't know what time that breakfast would be ready. People were waiting 15+ minutes before someone said something. I'm thinking what if wanted to catch a bite before they headed out for an appointment. That 15 minutes could have caused them to be late. At least post a sign as soon as you know something so people can make other plans. NOBODY wants to be left wondering. It's understandable when things beyond someones control happen but it's not acceptable when you have control over a situation and you don't communicate.... a simple sign would work.

Helen was awesome.
Helen was awesome. Very kid friendly... lots of variety in this to do for all ages .Shuttle was great from hotel to town!Save lots of money on parking! Was construction going which cause and little prbl but overall great. Food at the lodge was great and portions were excellent!

My favorite place in the U.S. Do not skip Hofers bakery. There is a line for a reason. Plan ahead and get there when they open. Chattahoochee Stables provided a wonderful horseback riding experience! The views at Yonah and Cottage vineyards are stunning.

I love Helen.
I love Helen. I live close enough to make day trips if I need a dose of this place, or if I want to introduce someone new to it. I believe I have been to Helen at least half a dozen times in the 4 years I’ve lived in Georgia.

Beautiful place to visit but did not expect to see so many kids and the parents did not have them under control. Why are kids sitting at the bar?? Will visit just hope there are not so many kids running a muck.

Mainly BRING CASH! Great weekend retreat, very family and dog friendly. As everyone says there, come with patience! Never be in a hurry, very crowded at Christmas. The food was Fabulous! The towns people are very friendly!
Bring cash, Everywhere charges up charges if you charge. Very dated with waiting in line for long periods of time at restaurants. Where we ate was worth the wait, but felt they could be a bit more modern with technology for reserving dinner slots.

We loved the area of the motel. The check in was easy . Our room was 116 right beside the office and we were pleased with this. The room was very nice . It was clean , bedspreads had a few stains on them but we could tell they had been washed. It had a coffee maker, hair dryer , refrigerator and big tv. It was quite and peaceful and we went during Octoberfest 2023.
We would definitely stay here again.
Amanda was very fast during check-in. We always enjoy the breakfasts at Country Inn & Suites. Parking was good. We liked the fact that the refrigerator and microwave were closer to the bathroom and not under the television.
It was nice being able to leave the car at the hotel and walk to the downtown area.
The service was excellent, the reception was very good, Hanna is super polite and helpful, we loved her, the breakfast was excellent, the room very clean, helpful staff, we will return without a doubt.
