No hot water. Bad breakfast. You have to aim the TV remote at the roof to change the channel or turn up the volume. The vending machine had no sodas and only chips no candy or anything else. Noisy neighbors above us and the refrigerator froze a lemon, and my milk.

The hotel was conveniently located with plenty of restaurants close-by. The amenities were good. The staff was ok, however in my opinion could use more customer service training. Overall, the room was great. It was spacious, kitchen area was good and even had a dining table. The beds were super comfortable. The hotel was quiet in spite of being full and the pool area was nice and the hotel is pet friendly.

This home was newly renovated and very comfortable. The location was great for seeing some of the Front Royal area. We loved our night there.

The town is quaint t the edge of the the Shenandoah Valley, historic with intact late 18th to early 20th century buildings, welcoming rural Virginian hospitality from many small, family owned businesses (some there for decades), at the gateway to the magnificent Shenandoah Natl Park and breathtaking Skyline Drive that winds southward atop the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Visitors Center (former FR train station) is most helpful. Stay at the Mountain Home B&B, built in 1847 and restored this past decade, to gain an informed perspective about the area's history while enjoying gracious hospitality.

Everything was at our fingertips, the door lock code was simple and easy to access, The parking was simple 3 point turn around in a large front yard. The dishwasher, washer dryer were clean and in good working condition. Must have city water as no bad smells or feels. The beds were clean and comfortable and the wifi, TV all worked great. Nice linens and towels, stacked firewood ready for use. Jacuzzi is in an enclosed screen porch to keep the bugs out. Lovely area with nature a bounty. Book with confidence and assurance this home is a cared for gem in the mountains.

Good hiking and vineyards near by.
Make sure you take all the food you need as there are convenience stores around with limited supplies.

It has to be the most convenient place from which to see the park. The town has everything you might need to facilitate a good hike or even spend days in the forest. Accommodations seem to geared around providing a place to sleep as you adventure around the mountains. Dining in the town is third rate.

Don't stay here. Blankets in one room smelled like urine.
Don't stay here. Blankets in one room smelled like urine. Pillows in 2nd room smelled like urine. Continental Breakfast was disappointing. Coffee pot empty. No hot water for the hot chocolate packets. The only thing they had out and available was bread for toast and cereal. If it wasn't late and I wasn't so tired I would have checked out and gone to another hotel. The only positive was the staff was nice.
The hotel is on a little hill and so we had a wonderful sunset!
Beds are very comfortable.
The receptionist was very friendly!
We got coffee in the morning.
