Absolutely wonderful shower and bathroom in general
Eugene is a great small city. It has a lot to do and offer and lots of great restaurants, boutique shopping and is very walkable and has lots of greenbelt areas. I highly recommend staying downtown Eugene so you can experience all it has to offer for a short two or three day trip. The people are friendly and it has interesting neighborhoods around downtown. Loved the Provisions Marketplace and Restaurant, the vintage shops near the University. I came right after Christmas so many of the cultural venues and museums were closed, however, I would come back to see those as they have a lot of great museums.

Beautiful, safe, clean city!
Beautiful, safe, clean city! Vibrant and walkable restaurants and shops near university. A ton of hotels however, DO NOT STAY ON OR NEAR 6TH AVE!!! IT IS FAR TO NOISY AND TRAINS PASS ALL NIGHT. If you are a light sleeper, you won't sleep near this area.

It's a nice quiet town , not much to do and the market places are not good. It does have many nice parks for a relaxing weekend. It's a great town to see your favorite collage team play Oregon.

This is a fantastic city -- creative and vibrant with plenty of big city fun with a small town vibe! Eugene has a fantastic food scene and great book and music shopping and museums. My favourite is the Whiteaker Neighborhood; lots of fantastic dining options and live music plus parks and the beautiful river path. It is a great place to walk and cycle.

Eugene is a college town, and we chose to go on road trips instead of staying in town. If there are games going on, it can be quite hectic to try and get around the city. There are covered bridges to go and see in Cottage Grove, as well as waterfalls and other hikes to partake in in Cottage Grove and outside Eugene.

I will never go to Eugene in the winter again! So cold!
I will never go to Eugene in the winter again! So cold! And the rain never stopped for our entire stay. And the day we had planned to leave, I-5 was expected to be closed over Siskiyou Pass due to snow and high winds. We left a day early and drove home via the long route, over to 101 and then down the coast. Temp never got above 45 degrees and the rain never stopped, but at least we didn't have to deal with snow. If you need to go to Oregon, schedule it for the summer when it is actually quite pleasant.

Great location and helpful staff! The best part about the hostel is the common areas: it's spacious enough and a good environment to chill, cook & eat, or get online for studies or work. I was a University student and stayed here while waiting to move in to my permanent housing. It's fairly close to campus (walk, bike or bus ride) and the Whiteaker neighborhood is a must-see in Eugene!
We thought the breakfast items were exceptional, the variety was great! The staff was very friendly! If we had time at night we would of gone for the smores kit they offered!
The room was nice & quiet!
Nicely renovated, retro decor fun - room clean and well maintained, the owner very pleasant and helpful. Restaurants and a grocery store nearby, a short driving distance to downtown.
