The hotel was Cook County Hospital in a previous life. It has been wonderfully restored. The hallways are massive, spacious and airy.
The location is perfect for United Centre (basketball and hockey).
Access to The "L" (Chicago Transit Authority) is just across the road. $20 USD got us a 3 day pass which was the best deal in town (it's an expensive city !)
The hotel was very accommodating for parking when we asked to leave our vehicles while we spent our last day in the city. Parking was very secure and accessible.

First of all my deposit was given to somebody else then the next day that I had booked I was told there was no rooms available just because I asked about a discount because the TV had been smashed in and the lady told me the night before that they would give me a discount the next day when my reservation went through for the next day I had the most horrible experience of my life and my mother just died 2 days earlier
