Wonderful experience, treated me and my kids like family
We visited there with friends and family. We did the tourist stuff but that’s why we went there! Lol. We rode the incline and visited the National Military Park. Parking was very reasonable. The old train station isn’t what it used to be. Lots of closed and empty spaces. Not very many people there. Lunch was good. The drinks and shoes we bought from the open counter space were watered down.

Good - Lookout Mountain was great, Ruby Falls was definitely worth the price, followed by a short drive up to Point Park to walk around the battlefield. The Murder & Mayhem ghost tour was a fun way to walk around the downtown area and learn about the city. Big Bad Breakfast was delicious and worth the wait.
Bad - Driving around the area is rather stressful due to the highway system, excessive road construction everywhere and aggressive drivers. Parking in the city is paid parking everywhere requiring either continually feeding parking meters or squeezing into very cramped paid lots.

A historic city which has undergone major renovation and some restoration in recent years. Chattanooga is a river city, and it seems to make good use of its proximity to the Tennessee River. Very good restaurants. A walker friendly downtown. Family activities, restaurants, museum, aquarium, shopping, within easy walking.
Pay to park along the streets and several parking garages makes driving fairly convenient.

Cute town, much smaller than I imagined.
Cute town, much smaller than I imagined. The problem we found was most stuff wasn't open on Wednesday which was the only day we had there. The History Ghost Tour was great, walking around and seeing all the small shops and buildings was also great. We did candle making which was also a nice keepsake for the trip.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We arrived a few hours early and were able to check in straight away. Free shuttle to downtown just outside the hotel. Food options just across the road. Innside cafe was a good option for breakfast. Didn’t get round to finding the pool.
