Room was huge, lots of space to work with. Pet friendly, plenty of places to walk the dog and with doggy bags provided. Bed is super comfortable, especially at this price point. Plenty of parking outside also. Room service was super attentive, even organized our plushes and duvets for us. Everything was super clean.

Loved that restaurants, shopping. and the beach are within walking distance. From the Tamarack Beach Resort, we were able to walk to the Daily News for breakfast, the Harbor Cafe for lunch, and have dinner at the hotel adjacent Dini’s. Enjoyed the beautiful plants and flowers that thrive in Carlsbad.

It's mostly an upscale suburban community. Lots of nice grocery stores and other shopping. I was there because my Sister and Niece live there.
When I'm visiting with my wife, we like Oceanside. In some ways it's better for tourists. But it does not have the great grocery and other stores that Carlsbad has.

Carlsbad was very nice. We loved all of the food and shopping options in Carlsbad Village. We were planning to go to Old Town San Diego, but found we were having such a nice time in Carlsbad that we stayed and explored what was available...excellent choice!

My worst experience at the Motel 6 .
I won’t be going back even if I was offered a free night.
Note: I had to walk the block just to use the bathroom to and also change to swimwear at the Western Hotel and the other hotel across from it. I wanted to have a beer there but neither one of them had a bar.
I had one at the beach hut. Yeah!

Amazing property 2min from legoland. Love the pool and hot tub. The staff were Uber friendly and I love the free shuttle from the hotel legoland. Saved us the $50 in parking fees!
