Very nice staff, flexible with check out time. We stay there for 9 days. Breakfast is good but getting boring after a few days. Staff are extremely nice and friendly. Location is good as BL is a small town so it’s close to everything. Room is very clean and very good size, well organised. The studio is coming with dishwasher and microwave, easy for some quick meals. Free coffee in the lobby all the time although I’m not a fan of American style coffee, but as it’s hard to find espresso in the town, it’s better than nothing.
Overall very good experience staying there.

It's a college town, so a lot of diversity in restaurants, cultures, people, etc. Lovely campus to walk around. Kirkwood Avenue, Fourth Street, and the town square provide about any dining experience you could imagine. The town is both quaint and modern, and the surrounding area has beautiful forest, water, and hilly landscapes.

Wonder Lab is a must with kids.
Wonder Lab is a must with kids. Stay on Big Oak Trail to catch the path to the rest area with the bathrooms— the open field trail is actually a route to Homestead Trail and Authorized Personnel Only zones. It is NOT marked on the map— if you have small kids, this is a pretty costly error. Follow the path to the right back into the woods. Do not swim in the lake— it is freezing on a good day, and they have a blue/green algae problem. Osprey outlook is great, bring small stones if you want to skip rocks. Homey Hot Pot is a fantastic restaurant with a cheap public parking garage attached. We were treated very well there. Everything is within very reasonable driving distance.

I moved to Bloomington in 1991.
I moved to Bloomington in 1991. Then, B'town was a quaint, friendly, comfortable place to live.
I saw it change rapidly, imploding upon itself. Downtown has been completely destroyed, becoming a high rise ghetto, catering solely to IU students, and completely ignoring the longterm residents. Bloomington is now an ugly city, filled with greed and ignorance. I already see neediness, in the unattractive apartment blocks. The City Council has failed.
I left Bloomington ten years ago, and won't come back to live.

Bloomington is a typical mid-western college town, so when you go there is important. If school is in session, it can be too crowded and too loud with college students just about out numbering residents. Otherwise, it is a very cute town that is very accessible with lots of good restaurants and shops.

We traveled to Bloomington, INDIANA, to see the first of our grandchildren graduate from high school. Our stay at the La Quinta Inn in Bloomington, INDIANA, was great!
I have capitalized INDIANA because Booking.com apparently does not know there are numerous cities named Bloomington. They suggested we visit the Mall of America and other activities to do in Bloomington, MINNESOTA. Among others, there is also a Bloomington, ILLINOIS. Only the address of the property on the website mentioned in what state it was located. Attention to detail needs some work☹️

Clean, well appointed cabins. Small space but good enough for a family with two pre-teen kids. Nice deck with views into the woods - particularly beautiful in the fall. Private fire-pit and picnic tables. First things the kids said was "no tv?!" We consider that a positive. Communication from the owners was excellent. If you are open to a cabin experience in an RV park not too far from Bloomington this is a good choice. We would definitely stay here again.
