Looks like they've just taken over this place and are making an effort to make it an upscale, lively place, They have a lot going against them (neighborhood, lack of local attractions) and I'm sure it's costing a lot to get up to speed.

Front desk was super nice - we got upgraded to king room upon check-in which was awesome! The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor heated pool during the day and firepits at night. Theres also coffee/food in the lobby as well as great working space with plenty of plugs and nice wifi. Would stay again for sure!

Asbury Park is one of the most friendly, comfortable, historic, beautiful, and charming towns one could ever imagine staying in. Be sure to check out Freedom Rocks, A Year and a Day Mystical Shoppe, Purple Glaze, Madame Marie's Temple of Knowledge, Porta, The Casino, Asbury Fun House, the Beach Bar, and of course, the actual beach! Everyone is Asbury Park is such a delightful person.

The new free shuttle would have been better if there was some sort of schedule to follow .We ate at several restaurants most in walking distance.it was a shame all bars and restaurants in the Berkley are closed Monday through Thursday. enjoyed the Iron Whale, Bonnie Reed, Asbury oyster House along with the Asbury Distillery and the Beach Bar

My experience was horrible this trip.

My experience was horrible this trip. My car was damaged by the third party valet who refused to take any responsibility even with proof. They are negligent with valet since it’s not owned by them and you’ll only get a “ sorry this happened to you”. Avoid staying at this hotel if you can at all costs.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff were always helpful, but especially George, the ambassador bell Nan. he couldn’t do enough to help, with restaurants, directions, local area information and much more. he always had a smile on his face and friendly word, this turned a great stay into an exceptional stay. There was also a great pianist, singer and songwriter, Arlan, on the Saturday night. We throughly enjoyed our evening listening to him.

Lovely hotel in a great location, walkable to main attractions. The room was a little snug but the bathroom was spacious. There was a scooter park outside, so we hopped on those after installing the app, very easy way to get around. We liked the record collection in the lobby. Staff were friendly, good coffee and breakfast.
