Sahari Zanzibar, hotel in Bwejuu

Featuring an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Sahari Zanzibar in Bwejuu is on a white, sandy beach. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk.

We really enjoyed our stay there and the staff were amazing, breakfast is good but I wish if they have like an open buffet or extra option.

The African Paradise Beach Hotel, hotel in Bwejuu

The African Paradise Beach Hotel features a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Bwejuu.

We spent 3 nights at the African Paradise hotel and have nothing but good things to say. The hotel is right by the ocean; white sand beach and beautiful, warm, turquoise water; nice and quiet/relaxing area, but a very short beach walk from the lively town of Paje. The owners are adorable - they were so helpful and accommodating; they helped arrange a variety of day-trips for us, coordinating transportation, etc. They also took us/a few other guests on a complementary boat ride to swim/snorkel nearby! The room was super cozy, clean, and had AC. The staff were all super helpful/friendly, and the FOOD. Omg. The breakfast that was included was a 3-course meal that started with the best, most flavorful fruit we’ve ever had, and was followed by a new main course each day (the waffles with banana, chocolate sauce, and whatever the heavenly fruit flavor was were our fav), followed by eggs, made to order. The lunch/dinner menu and cocktail menu were also fantastic, and very reasonably priced, especially given how giant the food portions were. 10/10, would highly recommend staying here!

Kijani Beach Villas, hotel in Bwejuu

Facing the beachfront, Kijani Beach Villas offers 1-star accommodations in Bwejuu and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area.

The breakfsast and the meals in general were very good. The rooms were quite nice. After we came back from our rides the rooms were always cleaned and tidied up with fresh towels and fresh bottles of water. I was overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff there, specially the manager Aliya. She was always asking if everything was ok, if we needed something, etc. She helped us to organize all the tours (with very good suggestions and providing the driver). On our last day, our flight from Zanzibar to Dubai was cancelled due to poor weather conditions in Dubai. So, again, Aliya suggested and helped us to book a flight from Zanzibar to Dar Es Salaam and from there we were able to catch a plane to Dubai the next day.

Pili Pili Orient Beach Resort, hotel in Bwejuu

Featuring a garden and views of pool, Pili Pili Orient Beach Resort is located in Bwejuu, a 3-minute walk from Bwejuu Beach.

The apartments are spacious with separate bedrooms and a living room with a kitchenette. The private pools are another value of these apartments, since there is not much to do in the are. The staff was friendly, from the reception to the waiters etc. They provide everyday room cleaning and small bottle of water per person. There is AC in the bedrooms and ventilators in the living. The breakfast was good with several options, fresh juice, coffee/tea and fruits. The prices for lunch/dinner are also effordable. It is a good choice if you need relax and privacy.

I really like the way Bwejuu is within reach to most scenic places. For example, I managed to reach places such as the Blue Safari, Stone Town, Kizimbani, and others, with ease. The people are very hospitable and ready to assist tourists at any time. May it is important to choose the right season to visit because I found the month of December very hot. However, the ocean compensate for the hot temperatures.

Outside of one of the most beautiful ocean and beaches we have seen, Bwejuu is a rather small village without much to expect from. However, Paje is only a few minutes away and has all the services you may be looking for.

Bwejuu is a small village with only a few hotels and limited restaurant options, but the hotels' restaurants are high quality so we didn't really mind. Paje has more options, but is also busier. Bwejuu is perfect for an intimate and relaxing getaway holiday away from the hustle and bustle.

A quiet part of the east coast but very easy to grab a taxi and head into Paje for drinks and dancing. It was very chilled out and felt very safe so lovely to be able to take long evening walks along the beach.

Bwejuu is set on a beautiful beach north of Paje.

Bwejuu is set on a beautiful beach north of Paje. There’s a lot to do in the area (caves, forests , spice farms, Rock restaurant) and lots of bars and restaurants however you’ll need transportation to access them. We travelled around the entire island in an hire car which I would highly recommend, was great fun and easy to find our way around. I would say this area is more dirty and littered which is a shame as the rest of the country is really well kept.

We were a family of 10 people.

We were a family of 10 people. I did not expect to walk in sand all over the place. The foliage kept it a little cooler. The pool was fine and clean. I did not expect no air conditioning and trying to stay cool with a standing room fan. Food was Ok - nothing special. The drive from the airport after dark was dangerous. The walk to the beach was short. A few restaurants were open down the beach. We moved to another resort just down the street after one night and had clean rooms, air conditioning, on the beach, great meals. We kept our keys because they said we could not get a refund for the 2nd and 3rd nights we had reserved. They said we could come back and use the pool but did rent out our rooms from the 2nd & 3rd nights. It was more like a hostel but was not advertised well on Booking.com

Raving review about this hotel which is one of the best I've stayed in. It is an oasis of peace and relaxation. The room was clean and cleaned each day, the garden is spectacular, the food delicious, the location right on the beach. One of it's best advantages is the staff, very welcoming and well prepared, ready anytime to meet your needs. They have made us feel at home and we thank them for this !

Beautiful beachfront location in a quiet area. Good food. Relaxed atmosphere. Most of the staff were very helpful, when you could get their attention away from their phones! All staff were friendly and easy to chat to. Small hotel. Not expensive. The pool is a lifesaver if the tide is out! Small but clean and not crowded.

I have seen better rooms elsewhere. But the beach and the sea here are insanely beautiful. The view from the hotel bar is breath taking.
