Good place to stay in Arusha. Room was clean and staff were super nice! They even let us keep our bags there for the day until we waited for our evening bus. There’s air conditioning too. We chose this place specifically bc it was close to the bus station - 2 minute walk.

We stayed in the hotel for a week while attending a conference. The location was within perfect walking distance of the AICC. The room we stayed in was beautiful with good WiFi, AC and even a lounge area and balcony. Housekeeping service was very good; we received small treats like apples and biscuits in our room every evening.

I felt that Arusha was a very friendly and safe town to visit. Everyone was helpful and kind. I was traveling on my own, then with a safari group, and I had a wonderful experience in that town. We walked to local restaurants from our hostel, and I don't remember the names of them. I find that staying at the hostel was better than at a hotel because it is easier to meet other people which makes the visit much more enjoyable, especially when traveling alone. I highly recommend the Wakawaka hostel. It had a great price and breakfast and use of the kitchen were included! Also the owner is wonderful, and gives it a real homey welcoming touch.

Arusha is definitely gorgeous, has potential free activities with intentions to support their town you can visit the art gallery and cultural center and support African culture. I loved the Gran Melia Hotel , Pricilla was very lovely , and the staff in general were just great, amazing food ; best scenery for Mount Meru and the Nature. I was in AWEE

Arusha is so gorgeous.
Arusha is so gorgeous. I honestly wish I had more time there.😍
The view of Mount Meru was such a delight, and the weather is a lot less hot compared to Dar. It rained at some point and ive never been happier all soaked and on a daladala.😂 It's also home to the largest art gallery in Africa, and that place is lovely. I didn't try many different foods but I had zege, ugali, and some local food at a place they called 'Miami Beach'😁 but maybe don't try find that on Google maps. You can ask a local for directions.
It's a really amazing place and so much to see so make sure you do better than I did and spend a few more days😎

It was my first time in Arusha.
It was my first time in Arusha. Most natives are friendly, but the clubbing scene is full of thieves. My phone was stolen by what appeared to be a ring of thieves at the nightclub I went to. (The Hub). The management wasn't helpful in trying to recover the phone either, and this was very disappointing.

I enjoyed my stay at the Banana Farm Eco-hostel.
I enjoyed my stay at the Banana Farm Eco-hostel. Arusha as a city was not my favorite place to visit, just more of a jumping off place for my safari and relaxation before I left on safari.
We did find a wonderful Indian restaurant, just a block or so from the Outpost Lodge, where we stayed immediately before and after a wonderful safari into the Serengeti National Park.

We had a great time in Arusha, from going on a Safari, to visiting a Masai tribe and having a tour around the area. Also, cannot say enough good about Seven Skies Hotel in Arusha. Everyone was really wonderful and they helped us out with a really difficult situation when they didn't need to. We would recommend them to any and everyone going to Arusha!! Great place to start and end a safari!

I only stayed 1 night in Arusha, but the hotel felt central. The staff was super friendly, helped me learn some Swahili and was overall very accommodating. There was toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom.
For breakfast I had the best samosa I’ve ever had!
The hotel is a hidden oasis in Arusha! There are lovely green spaces, lots of comfortable places to sit and the rooms are lovely. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.
A cost conscious hotel, very affordable, its in the city center.
