Everything is perfect. The owner very proactive to reach us in advance and making sure that we won’t get lost by the incorrect direction by Google. Breakfast is simple but yummy. She loves cat so all the decorations are all about cat. (So cute) we were regret that we did not book here for another night. Will definitely stay here again if we happen to be there again. The hosts are so kind! They gave us multiple rides in and out of town and to nearby Fenqihu, arranged a tea picking activity for us, and gave us many recommendations on hikes, activities and restaurants. They created a very warm and welcoming communal atmosphere.
The property is set on a beautiful tea farm a 10 minute walk from the shizhuo bus stop. It is 5 minutes from the entrance to the shizhuo trail system.

Chicken and fried stream shrimps. Best to rent a car or book for private transport to travel around Alisan as the interval for public bus iS at least half an hour.
Family home with 4 guest rooms. Excellent hosts with attention to every detail to ensure comfort of the guests. We arrived late (after dinner) and it was dark and raining heavily. Hosts came out to greet us with umbrellas and took our luggage to the rooms. Breakfast next morning was excellent and we could not finish. Host packed the balance with extra homemade bread for us to eat during our journey. House and rooms are amazing, comfortable and luxurious. Room rate is steep, but highly recommend stay for special occasion(s).
The location is kind of secluded, however, that is to expect in the middle of the mountain. Thankfully, owners provide free transport to and from the property from the bus stops. The owners were also very nice and considerate. They even helped arrange transportation up Alishan to watch the sunrise. Overall all was great, however do note that certain things are dependent on the owners' flexibility and time. Do enquire beforehand.
The small family running the teahouse were so friendly and welcoming. The teahouse itself were full of little personal handwritten quotes and touches that made you really feel at home!!! The spread of food was very generous and high quality! In many ways this place exceeds even some of the big named five star hotels in a big city!
Hotel was lovely.. we enjoyed it very much. Location is not easily accessible unless you drive but host was exceptional as we did not have dinner and the restaurant next door was closed on the day that we were there. Host drove us out for dinner and arranged to bring us back after our dinner. Will definitely stay there again.
Our stay at the guesthouse was truly amazing! The place is beautiful and very comfortable. We had the opportunity to visit the family's tea farm. We also bought their tea - which is delicious - to bring back as gifts for our family and friends.
