The best thing about this boutique hotel is the amazing warm hospitality of the owners and the staff.
We arrived late in the evening, but we were welcomed outside just as we parked, greeting us and helping with the luggage. We were able to pick the rooms, so to be close to one another.
On the second day, as I needed a higher bandwidth internet, I was offered an in-room access point, which was awesome!
This is a newly built property. Everything is done so to feel comfortable and relaxing. From the balcony, you can see the sea across the street.
Gokhan, the owner, is fluent in English, which was nice and helpful. In addition, the chef is very professional and the rest of the staff are really great.
We would definitely stay again there at our next visit.

Darica is a not so attractive suburb of Istanbul, but quite handy place to work remotely, it even got a coffee bar with wifi (200 meter from the place I stayed at), excellent for digital nomads for myself.
However the commute with metro to Istanbul is lengthy, there are no fast options (it would take approximately 1.5 hours from Gebze University metro station to Eminonlu in Istanbul - 28 stops). Plenty of supermarkets are surrounding the Emsa Palace Hotel, but crossing the road is quite cumbersome (very busy traffic).
