This was our stop-by from the airport to Bodrum. Very comfortable distance from airport. Nice apparment. Extremely friendly stuff. Free breakfast in the nearby restaurant. We were pleased to stay there.

The wonderful staff. They are superb. By the time we left, we were sad.
We were made so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Gulsen, Meltem and the great manager that speaks excellent English Elnara. Sorry can't remember all the men's names.
The pool is lovely and very clean.
Food was excellent value and Chef very accomodating.

Darica is a not so attractive suburb of Istanbul, but quite handy place to work remotely, it even got a coffee bar with wifi (200 meter from the place I stayed at), excellent for digital nomads for myself.
However the commute with metro to Istanbul is lengthy, there are no fast options (it would take approximately 1.5 hours from Gebze University metro station to Eminonlu in Istanbul - 28 stops). Plenty of supermarkets are surrounding the Emsa Palace Hotel, but crossing the road is quite cumbersome (very busy traffic).
