Quite a small but beautiful hotel, new, clean. I had a beautiful, bright, clean, quiet and comfortable room. 2 free bottles of water every day. Nice and very helpful staff, very good service. Delicious breakfast. Coffee and tea available at all times in the bar. Large fridge in the room. Efficient air conditioning. You can sit on the pleasant patio. Quite close to the main street in the center - 4-5 minutes on foot. Close to the airport, free transfer.

I did not expect it to be a beautiful, clean, safe place to walk around even at night. Despite the language barrier, people are nice and accommodating trying to help you with direction. I noticed that the drivers are very patient and seldom use their horn and gives priority to pedestrian. Parks and trees are everywhere. Food and stay is affordable.

We had wonderful time in Tajikistan. I would highly recommend Dushanbe as a cultural experience. Tajikistan is over 90% mountains and the views are wonderful. The general populace is extremely hospitable and kind. Go informed, however. This country is small, poor, and has a corruption problem. The border guards are known to let you in without filling out an immigration card and giving you grief for it when you leave, hoping for bribes. The water is not safe to drink, and I would not recommend buying food from street vendors. If you are traveling from America, do not be surprised at small inconveniences like showers being broken, food items not on the menu, or airplanes running a couple of hours late. But these are small inconveniences. Buy your water, do your homework ahead of time on immigrations, and allow extra hours in your travel times. Relax and enjoy the scenery! You won't be sorry!

It's a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, it should be called city of gardens and flowers, the city has so many beautiful gardens I have not seen in any other city. Very neat and clean streets and roads, spacious walkways along roads, beautiful buildings, looks more beautiful in the night
Large rooms and very good breakfast. Hotel is located at one of the main lighted boulevards (Ayni Street) of Dushanbe, with many luxury shops, supermarkets and restaurants (mostly fast food, with some interesting exceptions such as Cafe Moose and Massita, a Korean restaurant and French bakery/cafe).The capital seemingly has the aspiration to become the equal of Dubai in Central Asia.
Our stay at Hello Dushanbe Guest House was wonderful! The staff were always there to assist us during our stay, whether it be recommending restaurants or helping us order a taxi- they also organized us a day trip to Lake Iskanderkul. The house is comfortable, rooms are clean and large, and at the end of each day, it felt like we were coming back home, and not to a hotel.
I thank Sayfi and family for opening their home to budget travellers, as there don’t appear to be too many options in Dushanbe. Family were accommodating and helped me find a place to get my motorcycle radiator fixed. The room was a bit small and not so clean. The location seems very good to me and so for the price I think it’s a good deal.
