We had an amazing stay at Blu Monkey, a perfect retreat for nature lovers. Nestled in the jungle, you wake up to the soothing sounds of nature, surrounded by lush flora. The natural pool is pristine and offers a fun experience—you can swim or kayak while enjoying the peaceful setting. There’s also a large pool where you can relax and listen to the birds singing. The secluded location adds a wonderful sense of calmness and privacy.
We loved the thoughtful design of the hotel, especially the seating by the river where you can enjoy breakfast or meals surrounded by nature. We stayed in a villa that was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds. The breakfast, while not as extensive as in large hotels, offered everything you need, with a focus on detail and aesthetics. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into every aspect, from the beautiful presentation of dishes to the cozy atmosphere. The coffee at their coffee house was excellent, and the cakes were a lovely treat.
The staff truly stood out—they go above and beyond, clearly enjoying their work and continuously enhancing the guest experience. We stayed over New Year’s Eve, and they organized a fantastic party with delicious food and a great program, which made the celebration even more special.
We can’t recommend Blu Monkey enough, and if we return to Krabi, we will definitely stay here again!

Our group of nine South African friends, all approaching our 60s and having known each other since primary school, gathered for a week in Thailand, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place than Tha Lane. We quickly booked two three-bedroom villas for October 2024, and I can confidently say there was nothing to complain about—quite a rarity for our group!
Everyone absolutely loved our experience. The villas are impeccably maintained, offering a clean and relaxing atmosphere with breathtaking scenery. With only four villas on the property—two two-bedroom and two three-bedroom—the privacy was a definite plus. The attention to our needs was exceptional; every request was met promptly and with genuine warmth.
The excursion prices were very reasonable, allowing us to explore without straining our budgets. The villas are well-equipped, featuring an abundance of dishes and utensils, along with a gas stove and a convection microwave for cooking and reheating.
The food from the restaurant, conveniently delivered right to our villa, was both delicious and affordable.
We were genuinely impressed by the incredible value offered at this hidden gem. As a resident of Thailand, I've already booked a week for next year around the same time, as this is undoubtedly my go-to spot for annual holidays! It’s truly fantastic!

The Villa was exceptional! It was beautiful, had our private little pool with the view of the jungle. When we arrived, the staff were really friendly, warm and greeted us with a welcome drink. The beach is 1 minute walk and we saw an amazing sunset! You can order food via whatsapp with staff, and they bring you the food at the agreed time. Really recommend and would definitely come back.

I loved my stay in this area as it has everything you need...
I loved my stay in this area as it has everything you need as a solo traveler. Within walking or cycling distance you have access to several beaches, hikes, restaurants and viewpoints. It is very easy to arrange kayaking, market visits in more bustling areas or snorkeling trips from the local accommodations. I would recommend exploring by motorbike if you have a more adventurous spirit and do not wish to depend on taxis(which need to be arranged and are not plentiful).

Amazing location with views from rooms and outside. Large property. Excellent privacy. Comfortable rooms, kitchen, bathrooms etc. Two walls of glass in the bedroom gives a feel of being right in a jungle next to the beach. Simply fabulous. Staff is excellent, helpful and polite. Cannot think of a better place to stay...

We liked out Villa very much.
We liked out Villa very much. It was very clean and everything equipped.
Owner and his wife have helped us to plan our daily activities, PCR and transfers. They know everything around Krabi and islands around. We ate near by restaurant and some day we cooked pasta in the room.
It is 30 minutes from Aonang beach but it was not a problem. We could easily get there by transfer.
If we could go back to Krabi, we will stay this same Villa for sure.
We have organized trip to Phi Phi island with other tour agency and had a terrible time because it was too many people on the boat and beach they took us was too busy. Next day, we went to Hong Island which is in front of the Villa with the private boat which this villa have organized for us. It was so much better and even cheaper. Next time, I would skip the phi phi island and just enjoy Islands near the Villa.
