Very good value for money. It’s a bit in a distant location but that was no problem for us. Beach is close by. Room big with couch and comfortable. Bed great quality

Very cozy and well-maintaned hotel just across the road from the sea. Staff is helpful and the service is great. The hotel offers breakfast for 250 THB, a pool, motorbike/bicycle rent, massage, etc. The rooms mostly have garden view, are rather spacious, clean and have everything for comfortable living: shower, hot water (need to wait until the boiler heats it), small fridge, safe, teapot, aircon. The hotel also offers laundry for extra price

Our 5 nights at Namaste were a highlight of the month we spent in Thailand. Poon, Michel and Kan were extremely welcoming, thoughtful and helpful, sharing lots of invaluable tips about the local area, and arranging our transport.
Poon's breakfasts were the best food we had in Thailand! I'm vegan and my partner is vegetarian, and she made some delicious, creative Thai breakfasts for us.
The room was immaculate, very comfortable, nicely decorated and had everything we needed.
The location was excellent, with several restaurants and a minimart within easy walking distance. We rented a scooter and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area. The scenery around Sam Roi Yot is stunning, and the roads are quiet so the driving was straight forward. There is plenty to see and do, and we saw lots of wildlife (kingfishers, bee-eaters, Dusky Langurs) as we explored.
Thank you Poon, Michel and Kan for an absolutely wonderful time at Namaste!

The accommodation was perfect, a really welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, the bungalows were small but also very comfortable. Everything was clean, not luxurious but everything we needed. The host was super helpful and friendly and gave us mango every morning (best mango we ever had!!)

Nice beach, some activities, Kajak, ATV, restaurant, massage places, some caves. Some hotels are specifically kids friendly. Good beach if you want to relax or for a family.
Not really for party people, only if you bring everyone for your party yourself.
Also bring Moskito spray!

Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon.
Arrive at Lungcha homestay in the afternoon. Make a boat trip at sunset (starting point directly in front of the homestay). The lake with thousands of lotus flowers and birds is phantastic. They offer a 150.- baht dinner in Thai style (a bit oily, but good and plenty). Next morning do another sunrise trip: it is very different, because the light is different, there are more birds, the lotus flowers are open, the atmosphere is just magic. Costs 500,- baht for the boat (takes up to four people). Breakfast at Lungcha included and check out. There is not much to do or see near the homestay, perhaps you can stroll to the Ranger IV station in about 20 min, there is a small stripe of beach and access to the lake.

I rented a scooter to visit the park 2 days.
The first day I visited the Phraya Nakhon Cave. It was definitely one of the highlights. Even the walk was nice, especially the first climb with nice views over the sea. I arrived before 10:00 in the cave, the perfect time to have the best sunlight.
The second day I made a tour around the park (about 120 km) and visited nearly all indicated places: the Sam, Phraya Beach (nothing special), the Khao Daeng with boat tour (nice), Khao Daeng View Point (a difficult and sometimes steep climb, but with a wonderful view), and the Lotus Pound (very nice but not the best season to see the blooming lotus. Returning I took road 1021 where you can have beautiful sunset over the wetlands.

The sandy beach is very pleasant and gives an opportunity to observe/interact with local people involved in various types of fishing.
Samroiyod National Park is a must, particularly the Phraya Nakhon Cave with the small shrine inside (trail is steep though, requires a good physical condition). Cheap seafood is available everywhere in the village, by the beach.

A glorious golden sandy bay, unspoiled by mass tourism, yet has several good quality hotels for every budget. Several restaurants, a few beach bars giving the bay an overall almost tropical island feel. This must have been how Pattaya was before mass tourism and concrete development spoiled its natural charm. Let's hope it doesn't happen here.

Great beachfront suitable for long walks.
Great beachfront suitable for long walks.
Excellent choice of local restaurants.
Easy to access the hire of bikes, motorcycles, sidecar combos and cars.
Quiet, peaceful and relaxing.
Great selection of properties to stay in.
There’s even a local 9 hole golf course that needs a bit of TLC but is nevertheless a good test.

Namaste Resort ist located beautifully on a very long and nice beach in Kao Sam Roi Yot.
There are only 5 Bungalows which are extremely well kept.
Poon and Michel are very nice persons and If you have anything you want, may it be information about trips or something missing from your Bungalow, just ask and they are happy to provide it.

Very well maintained property, had a little huccup with our room... Put next to family with 2 kids... And walls in that particular room were paper thin, but we moved room. Rooms are spotless. Area is beautiful however - if you are going to relax be aware that tgis place caters for familys with youg children, and gets quite noisey, no a fault of the hotel obviously.
Very nice place, good vibes !
Clean and comfy room with AC, nice bathroom with hot water.
Cool restaurant with good thai and western food.
Value for money.
Recommended for visiting Sam Roi Yot parc and chilling !
The staff were so so friendly and helpful. The location is great for the beach and National park. The pool is big. Also liked the free bikes. Nicely cooked breakfast.
