A cute bed and breakfast in a lovely road one away from the Pier. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and included a pick-up and drop-off service, and bicycle use.. I loved the provincial town. It felt authentic. Cafes nearby made great coffee, and the food from the night market was delicious, too. The beach is a short cycle away and is very chill. Fantastic to swim in. Great value for money. We wanted to stay longer.

A tranquil seaside town.
A tranquil seaside town. The tourist population is majority older European couples who are enjoying a leisurely stay at the beach. Very beautiful scenery. A bit hard transport wise unless you constantly pay for taxis or rent your own motorbike.

its not resort, in 5 days i saw maybe 15 tourist there, in the beach we were only ones, no loud bars no gogo etc. you can just peacefully relax, cheap food, also night market, can take bicycle and cycle around (dont choose main roads) nice countryside with few traffic, probably it would be good idea to rent scooter or car to explorer more, i just spent 5 days, 2 days used bicycle (20+60km) just cycled and discovered no itenary

One night only is too short. I extended my stay. The town is not big, but after many big and noisy places this place is perfect. No mad traffic. Lots of very nice restaurants and cafes. Nature, mountains, monkeys (two types black and brown, gentle and less friendly :) :) :)
Easy to arrive here with the train.

Smallish but charming provincial town.
Smallish but charming provincial town. Easy to reach via train. Good food markets including a daily one near the clock tower and a Friday-Saturday market along the waterfront. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs to keep you busy, many good quality coffee shops, and a general laid back and friendly feel. Not really a beach getaway destination, but if you are looking for a few days of easy-going comfort at a great price, this might be the place for you.

The beach at Ao Mango is beautiful but very shallow, at Prachuap itself the beach looks nice as well though especially towards the north of the town - there were not many swimmers at all though so not sure how good it is for swimming.
There was a big festival / fair for Sonkran taking up the entire city seafront, I am not sure how busy / quite it is normally.

Very good hotel for its price. There is air conditioning, a water heater, the rooms are spacious, clean white linen, high-quality furniture. Lots of thoughtful little things for convenience, hooks, shelves and more. Not crowded. Convenient location, good parking, you can stand right next to your room. Nice pool, place to have lunch by the pool. Friendly, attentive staff, new towels, toilet paper and soap every day. Animal friendly. We will definitely come back here again. Thank you.
Amazing cute hotel with great location in cultural street and close walk to beach promenade. Delicious welcome drink on arrival from friendly and helpful staff. Pi Jan was a fantastic host and organised local transport when we needed it. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Prachuap Khiri Khan.
New hotel in walking distance from the beach and so called city center. Clean, spacious rooms (AC, electric kettle, coffee, fridge, water, Thai TV-channels) with a balcony and a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast is basic and often cold. Pool is quite small but nice and refreshing.
Thank you to owners for availablity, kindness and hopitality. My daughter was sick and She took us to the clinic. it was a great stay. Hotel is a little bit far from the center so environment is calm. It is easy to take a taxi moto to take us to the center.
