Location was out of town which we expected and appreciated as it was Christmas and New Year, so we still managed to have peace and tranquillity. The beach and views from the rooms ( all of them) was simply stunning. We had great service while we were at the hotel from the staff, always friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. We had a suite and it was great to have a lounge and chairs to sit in.

WHat a wonderful little hotel. So much character! Had a very homey cozy feel to it. 5 Stars for cleaning staff! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would go back there again. Great location for access to the beach or for wondering around and seeing the sights. The room looks like it was resently upgraded with new tiles and bathroom. The bed was firm but comfortable. Air conditioning was great and showers have on demand hot water. Also had a safe and refridgerator. USB charging station by the bed. Great balcony.

I travelled to many places in Thailand, and I would say Hua Hin is completely different from others.
1) This is a small town
2) very calm and peaceful
3) easily walkable
4) Limited night activities like bars and nightlife
5) 2 shopping malls
6) Most tourist places these travel vloggers show on YouTube are outside the town and difficult to travel to.
7) within the town only 2-3 attractions are there not many.
8) As this town is less touristy there are no options like day tours etc.
9) it's hard to find tours and travel in the town
10) Tourists must hire a cab/taxi and plan a tour on their own. This is sometimes expensive.
11) Currency exchange is a problem there is one in village market. Unlike bkk,pattaya you won't find currency exchanges everywhere there are hardly 1 or 2. This is a real problem.
12) Night markets close by 11pm so please don't expect late night shopping and walks.
Overall this town is only for those people who wants to explore a new place and mingle with new people not for any activities or tourist places.

Didn't go to the girly bars, (GF wouldn't allow it) but there is an area.

It's a great resort, which is far quieter than the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. As a party of golfers it was the ideal location with numerous great courses nearby. The beaches were fabulous, the night markets great, plenty of bars and restaurants to meet every need, two modern "Western" shopping centres, good health facilities etc. It was a great place to stay. Would I go again? Maybe not as a week was enough and I am not sure there were enough close day trips to want me going back for more. However, for a week, nice enough.

We made it a beach get-away.
We made it a beach get-away. Transportation is available but not convenient as traffic patterns maximize distances. Don't go for the shopping; the two 'malls' are escapes from the heat. Make sure your hotel has a pool and good A/C in room. Not a foodie paradise, but with care, the seafood is great - certainly cheaper and more diverse than available in Bangkok.

a well-run small "boutique" hotel well situated beach-side and on the outskirts of Hua Hin away from the noise. Transport is provided FOC for those wanting to head into town . The room was excellent, spotlessly clean and comfortable, good Wi Fi and all the facilities you would expect in a good hotel room. The food was excellent and all meals were of a very high standard. All staff members were very pleasant and helpfull
I went to Hua Hin for the weekend to get away from Bangkok, change of scenery. I had work to do, study and prepare for exams. The hotel is beautifully furnished and decorated… the rooftop and the pool are wonderful. 5 minutes to the coast and maybe 10 minutes to the beach by foot where you can walk for hours. Very good location for night market, restaurants, train station. I loved it and plan to go again soon.
Travelling with another family we were given adjacent Family rooms with a connecting door on the balcony wall so the kids could go back and forth without opening the main doors. Rooms are in the old wing with a view to the sea. Great.
The old hotel is spacious with lovely gardens and a serene atmosphere.
Also the best beach in Hua Hin with soft sand and also rock pools to hunt about in.
very very nice hotel，I mean everything. I book the best room I think besides the swimming pool. I spent 4 days doing nothing but stay in the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. Everyday for the breakfast is different. Very close to the best beach in Hua Hin. And you can meet nice people here. I will come back next time.
