Beatiful hotel at a great location. Vastly outperforms it's 3-star rating. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Hotel room was spacious and the terracotta wall panel is breathtaking. We were greeted with an impresssive selection of complementary snacks and drinks, and even a coaster to have as a keepsake! Gorgeous views over surrounding area from our room and from the floor we stayed on. Location is superb. Most of the things we wanted to see were in old town so it was a short walk from the hotel.

Surrounded by Thailand’s highest mountains, Chiang Mai is the beloved, idyllic and somewhat mystical capital of the North. With more than 300 temples, it's considered one of the most important cultural centers in the country.
Despite being Thailand's fifth-largest city, Chiang Mai still has a relaxed and laid-back feel. Modernity, trendy shops and boutique hotels haven’t altered much of its picturesque and peaceful atmosphere.
This reputation is partly due to its proximity to lush green areas, mountains like Doi Suthep, and its panoramic Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep temple. The Doi Inthanon National Park is 37 miles away with Thailand’s highest mountain.
Hotels in Chiang Mai’s old city center are a popular choice, with picturesque scenery featuring its moat and older temples. Chiang Mai hotels can also be found around the Chang Klhan Rd, where the famous Night Bazaar takes place.
The city’s nightlife runs along the Loi Kroh Rd, while Ratchadamneon Road hosts the main Sunday night pedestrian market. Don’t forget to buy an umbrella from Bo Sang and eat a bowl of kao soi.
Whether you arrive at Chiang Mai International Airport or come by land from Bangkok, don’t miss "The Rose of the North" deals on Booking.com!

We went on a short trip up the river and were treated to a very good meal on the river's shore.

Chiang Mai is a decent size city but has a cozy feel to it.
Chiang Mai is a decent size city but has a cozy feel to it. Out of the three cities we visited in Thailand (Chaing Mai, Bangkok and Phuket), this was our favorite. Many unique stores to shop in and lots of dining options. We took a tour to the Chai Lai Orchid Elephant Sanctuary which I highly recommend. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had while traveling. The city is easy to navigate and tuk tuks are a plenty. Would highly recommend this city to anyone traveling to Thailand.

Nice city and in the winter months less polluted than Bangkok. A different vibe. I really loved the activities we did outside of Chiang Mai like the Kanta Elephant Sanctuary and Doi Inthanon.
There is a nice section of Chiang Mai with nicer shops and good food.
Getting around Chiang Mai is relatively easy via Grab but be mindful of rush hour. During peak times it may be difficult to get a taxi. We waited almost an hour.
Glad we visited for 3 days.

New hotel with a nice decor.
The place had everything you will need on the go.
The balcony was an absolute super plus and good coffees on ground floor
The placement is very ideal only 2 minute walk from the best food market in old city.
Location also makes it easy for grabtaxi and red taxis.
The place was spotless clean and was cleaned every day.
I stayed in 20 hotels in Chiang mai at this price point over the years and this is one of the absolute best
The staff was very kind and super helpful.
Beautiful hotel in excellent location (within old city). Wonderfully furnished throughout. Excellent facilities. Food exceptional. Breakfast in courtyard delightful (with excellent range of options). Staff all superb (courteous, charming and ever-helpful - nothing was too much trouble for any of them). Check-in and out extremely slick. All in all, fantastic hotel offering excellent value for money in prime location.
Beautiful hotel, great location to the east of the old city. Nice facilities, lovely and clean, modern and with easy access to the train station. Bars and clubs a nice walk or short taxi drive away. Lovely little restaurant opposite where you can get a nice breakfast or meal with beautiful pastries.
We stayed 5 nights the in Premier Double room & it was spacious & clean. Great location in Old City. A laundry just outside the hotel was helpful. Staff is very sweet. Wouldn’t think before re-booking for my next Chiang Mai trip
