The direct access to the beach is a definite plus, and the views are incredible at any point of the day. The hotel has been bags that can be moved around so it's nice to enjoy the shade directly on the beach. Staff was super nice, rooms very clean ; good products in the bathroom ; beach bag and towels were provided. The bar had pretty good cocktails and smoothies. The hotel is literally 10 minutes away from Koh Samui airport.

We enjoyed the high end restaurants and would recommend Galanga, Prego and Sexy Fish. For evening entertainment the Ark Bar is always good and has had an amazing refurbish since I was last here 2 years ago. I didn't really go to the main beach this visit but have been before and it is good for swimming, sun bathing and long walks and of course water sports

Chaweng is the entertainment centre of Samui.
Chaweng is the entertainment centre of Samui.
It comes with the same tourist trappings that other developed coastal areas of Thailand have.
For the beach town expect to have masseurs and tailors offering their services every 10 steps, restauranteurs trying to hustle you into their over-priced establishments (compared with elsewhere in Thailand), and quite aggressive taxi people plus a dedicated red-light area where single gentlemen will find themselves being encouraged to go in the respective bars.
As per every other tourist centre, nobody assumes you speak Thai, and all assume you don't like spicy food.
As with everywhere else circa 2024 cannabis dispensaries are every 10 metres or so. For retail therapy there is even a Central shopping mall.
Beach side Chaweng there is lots of water sports available, and some resorts have permenant beach party set-ups (such as Ark Bar).
Some of the more expensive resorts come across as a little souless.
Would benefit from more genuine street food vendors selling food at normal Thai prices.

Chaweng beach is place for people who love to drink, parties. It's a place where you can choose what you gonna do every day and night and it will not the same. During day you can go for a boat trips or take a bus and discover island, go for a lunch and in the evening enjoying free time, drink beer or coctails, dancing. We were 2 for 3 days but it wasn't enough.

There are plenty of places to eat and enjoy life.
There are plenty of places to eat and enjoy life. The area usually awakens during the evening because during the day people are on the beach or on tours. Plenty of night entertainment whether you love live bands or clubbing it's all there for you.

We stayed in one of the three beachfront rooms which was excellent, its a quiet resort with not a lot of atmosphere and the breakfast was OK but pretty basic, they had those automatic coffee machines that dont really make very nice coffee, they do have a proper machine but you had to pay for a coffee from that machine.
Beach in front of hotel was incredible, white sand really warm water, the hotels to the left had rocks at low tide but ours was great. Zero stree appeal and a pretty basic reception but all functioned fine, heard another person complain they wanted to charge her for a glass of ice? Staff we OK, lady around pool very friendly the rest not unfriendly just kept to themselves. They was a lot of reno work going on but it didnt bother us, they started late finished early and all the workers seem friendly enough.

The beach is amazing - sand is like talc powder - the seas are mainly calm and extremely clear - the restaurants out on Moo 2 (the main shopping - restaurant strip) are many and varied and some of them are extremely reasonably priced - alcohol drinks can normally be bought at many establishments between certain hours at 2 for 1 price and are normally about $4.50 Australian - cocktails - varied and amazing.
Beautiful property right on Chaweng beach which is the best and most lively area to stay at in Koh Samui. The location was spot on, their restaurant opened up to the beach and the lobby opened up to the Main Street, a minute away from the shopping stalls, bars, restaurants, cafe’s- anything you could ask for. The rooms were spacious, clean and had the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious despite the limited options- everything was fresh and flavourful. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved the jungle style of the hotel, the rooms are quiet, with a wonderful terrasse with view on the beach. The beach is private and belongs to the hotel.
Very well located, in the downtown of chaweng beach, near lot of restaurants and currency exchanges !
The wifi connection is good.
Lovely personnel, advising suggesting amazing programs and tours in Koh Samui.
Best place to stay in while in Koh samui. Beautiful rooms and pool area etc.
Stayed in a standard room across the road from the main hotel area. However someone ensuring you cross the road safely-not sure of the staffs members name but he greeted you with a smile everyday(wearing long pink top under uniform) he was amazing! All staff so friendly and welcoming.
This hotel took me by surprise in a good way!
The rooms are very comfortable plus, the WiFi was great. The location was perfect, near everything plus you get access to the neighbouring hotel pool which is on the beach front! I'd say this is actually a hack in Koh Samui, affordable room with access to a luxury hotels pool!
Great location at a quiet end of Chaweng beach. Beautiful beach and great out look. Easy to walk along the beach to chaweng or a short tuck tuck ride. Adequate breakfast with egg station
One of the best massages I experienced in Koh Samui
Friendly attentive Staff.
