The location was good. Near the town park and main roads but quiet and relaxing. Parking was large and convenient and included in stay, which was great.
We only stayed for one night, but the room was large enough, the bed was comfortable, and it had a good shower. Breakfast was fine. Basic, not a huge variety but good quality. Bread was fresh and very nice.

The hotel is on the edge of the town close to the main road. It has got its private parking. There is no elevator and the stairs to the third floor are probably original so they are quite unusually high.
The hotel is renovated old villa, but the rooms seem a little bit behind of the impression which the building itself gives. I dont say that they are bad, but when I was coming in, I thought the room would be more ... I dont know, classy. Dont get the wrong, the room was completely fine and clean.
There is a restaurant so you can have a dinner (when I was there, the last order was at 19:30). I felt that the restaurant made the meal too fancy. Like they would try to compete for MIchelline star. It was not exactly my cup of tea.
The breakfast on opther hand was very tasty.
The surroundings or the hotel is not extra nice. It seems to be located in an industrial zone of the town.
There is a supermark approximately 10 mins walk away from the hotel if you need to buy something.
If you just travel through the town this seems perfectly fine hotel. If you want to do some sightseeing in town, I would say that you could choose better hotel (only because of the location).

I use the hotel for my stays in Zilina when I have a job in the companies nearby but I can imagine to stay there for a family holiday. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed and great breakfast.

The park in front of the hotel is pretty. The restaurant behind the hotel is convenient and the two young wait staff were very helpful and friendly. There was also one woman at breakfast who was on the ball and also very nice. Other staff were totally disengaged and rude.
