- Travelled up and down to the mountain with Lanovka
- Visit the Mini city
- Rented electric bicycles and travelled to the mountains
- Visit the MaraFun lake where we could have lots of fun (e.g. jetski)
- Walked up to the maintains
- Were watching the paragliders

A very small ski area.
A very small ski area. Perfect for beginners, but more advanced skiers can easily get bored.
The main issue is that the blue & red slopes are separated by the main road, with a good 15 min walk between them. You kinda have to decide where you spend your day.

It's a little paradise for families with kids and beginners on ski.
Great ski schools for the little ones, enough places to rent your equipment and nice bar/bistro at the mountain, in case you are there just to enjoy the view.
The prices are very fair as well, and the fact that some parts you can walk up and down (some places are totally accessible by foot), also make it easy on your pocket, unless you are really skiing you still can have some fun without having to pay for tickets.
We ate at bistro in the mountain, had lovely hot wine with the mountains view very nice.
In the village we at Donny and at Stodola, love it. Highly recommend the pork knee.

Very nice resort with all kinds of attraction for kids, but also for the old ones (like Donovaly Pivovar :) ). A hiking to Zvolen or other routes is definitely nice, you see a lot of peaks from Velky Fatra and also from Nizke Tatry. A beautiful place also in the summer also in the winter, lots of lift sky and telemix to go on the top or for skiing. We really enjoy every time we arrive here.

The flat was so beautiful! It was also comfortable - we could wash our clothes since there was a washing machine. What was only missing was a clothes rack, as we had nowhere to dry our clothes. The appartment was really clean and spacious. Glad we rented there :)
It is fully equipped, you can find whatever you need. Self-check in is easy. It was clean. 10minutes walk from Donovaly centrum bus stop, ski rental, grocery. It is close to nice slopes. Nice view. Landlord is responsive and helpful.
P.S. jus a side not, I’m not sure how it was for other people, but when I type the exact address it wasn’t showing up in Google map, if you simply type Safran apartment, you can find it easily. That’s what I did.
Overall it was a pretty comfortable room, it was very clean, spacious enough for 2 people. There were all necessary kitchen appliances, which is great, since we cooked mostly ourselves. A coffee machine was a nice bonus! The room stays cool even during hot days. The hotel provided us with a place for our bikes, that was easy to access. The location was awesome, the forest is close, as well as all other attractions of Donovaly.
The property is set in a beautiful location, all surrounded by nature with wonderful montain views.There is a restaurant offering traditional Slovakian dishes and many other places to eat or buy groceries in a walking distance. The appartment was clean, very cozy and very well equiped. I will be very happy to come back again.
New and Luxury Apartment with Infra Sauna and large living room. It was our second stay here but we loved it again. Only the short staying (2 nights) was bad. The location is perfect you can reach restaurants in Donovaly by walking.
The beds are very comfortable.
The hotel was simply great. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, the food amazing and the wellness part was brand new and very well done. I would definately stay here again. Outstanding quality for value.
