Hotel is in an amazing area of Donovaly. A beautiful view and clean air, a complete celebration of nature. Full of attractions in the area and at the same time is in a quiet and perfect place. Lots of hiking and biking trails are in the area. Nice and helpful staff. Hotel offers all kinds of spa activities. A lot of parking in the site.

We booked 2 rooms, both with balcony, we receiced one without, but upon complaint, the problem was swiftly resolved. We'll definitely return.:)

- Visit the Mini city
- Rented electric bicycles and travelled to the mountains
- Visit the MaraFun lake where we could have lots of fun (e.g. jetski)
- Walked up to the maintains
- Were watching the paragliders
etc.

A very small ski area.
A very small ski area. Perfect for beginners, but more advanced skiers can easily get bored.
The main issue is that the blue & red slopes are separated by the main road, with a good 15 min walk between them. You kinda have to decide where you spend your day.

It's a little paradise for families with kids and beginners on ski.
Great ski schools for the little ones, enough places to rent your equipment and nice bar/bistro at the mountain, in case you are there just to enjoy the view.
The prices are very fair as well, and the fact that some parts you can walk up and down (some places are totally accessible by foot), also make it easy on your pocket, unless you are really skiing you still can have some fun without having to pay for tickets.
We ate at bistro in the mountain, had lovely hot wine with the mountains view very nice.
In the village we at Donny and at Stodola, love it. Highly recommend the pork knee.

Very nice resort with all kinds of attraction for kids, but also for the old ones (like Donovaly Pivovar :) ). A hiking to Zvolen or other routes is definitely nice, you see a lot of peaks from Velky Fatra and also from Nizke Tatry. A beautiful place also in the summer also in the winter, lots of lift sky and telemix to go on the top or for skiing. We really enjoy every time we arrive here.

The flat was so beautiful! It was also comfortable - we could wash our clothes since there was a washing machine. What was only missing was a clothes rack, as we had nowhere to dry our clothes. The appartment was really clean and spacious. Glad we rented there :)

10 min to reach Donovaly centre (grocery store, restaurants, ski rentals).
5 min by car to reach fan park for kids.
Delicious food at restaurant (exept pizza at husky bar), reasonable price, welcoming staff.
Apartment is warm, extra hot water is available.
Fully equipped with everything you may need.
Apartment is big enough for couple even with kids. Good speed WiFi is available for free.
Overall it was a pretty comfortable room, it was very clean, spacious enough for 2 people. There were all necessary kitchen appliances, which is great, since we cooked mostly ourselves. A coffee machine was a nice bonus! The room stays cool even during hot days. The hotel provided us with a place for our bikes, that was easy to access. The location was awesome, the forest is close, as well as all other attractions of Donovaly.
As a family 2+2, we visited Donovaly for skiing for 1 week stay. We recommend the Apartman Moderna which is a very comfortable base for skiing. The apartment has a fantastic view of mountains, private underground garage and modern household appliances.
Amazing resort, everything was what we could see on their website and more. The breakfast is great, the wellness area is a must go, absolutely amazing! The staff is also great, could not recommend this place more! We will definitely come back!
