I am a regular visitor here and in Rogla ski centre. If I weren't satisfied the services or the landscape, I wouldn't come here so often. It is good for hiking, bathing, relaxing and skiing-snowboarding.
I haven't been here in spring or in the summer but I am plannig as it must be beautiful then
I had breakfast and dinner at my hotel (ReActive). I used my car but there is a busline up the mountain of Rogla. You can also reach Gorenje easily from here.

There are many things you can visit, see and do in Zreče and its surroundings. Take a bath in Terme, visit Rogla and Pot med krošnjami Pohorje, take a walk around Zreče lake, visit a mini ZOO, have a historic experience at Žička Kartuzija, visit ruins of castle in woods or have a day filled with sports activities, cycling etc.

I am a regular visitor in Zrece, ie. in Rogla.
I am a regular visitor in Zrece, ie. in Rogla. I recron it is a nice area for skiers, hikers and those who like nature or 'Sauna-world'. It is quite easy to reach from the High Way.
Rogla (ski centre) is about 20 minutes up by car but there are ski-buses regularly. Maribor (the second largest city in Slovenia) is only about an hour from Zrece.
On the top of Rogla there is a new Tree-top walking, a 37-metre high tower with a picturesque view to the surroundig hills and Julia Alps. I can also recommend that. The entrance fee is 10 Euros

The area around Zrece is amazing. Heaps to do. The new forest tower walk is close by as is the space centre. The visitor centre was very very helpful and sent me on an amazing trip around the area that planned in with my next destination. They were so much more helpful than the LJ information center. I would definitely go back for a couple of days and have more of a look around.
Excellent accomodation with grand, modern, clean and well decorated rooms. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and there was a various selection of dishes. Hotel is situated about 20 kilomeres from ski lift, so it's perfect choice for winter vacation. There are huge indoor/outdoor (very warm) pools, hot thubs and saunas village. Everything was desinfected and perfectly clean.
We've highly recommend this hotel!
I have stayed here a few times before so I know what to expect. It is in the centre of Zrece and there's a shop across the road. It is a perfect place to go skiing or hiking. The rooms are big enough and the bathroom as well. This time we were on the ground floor which is good for wheelcars, too. The food is enough both for breakfast and for dinner (self-service ).
Nice family owned restaurant in the centre of Zreče. The rooms are nicely and simply equipped, very clean. There is restaurants downstairs, which was great. The terme is in the walkable distance (100m) and Rogla 20 min with a car. Would definitely recommend. They are very friendly and will help you w. everything you need.
