We were family of 4 that really enjoyed our stay in the hotel! All the staff were very polite and gave us good tips on where to eat, where to shop, what to visit etc. We felt very welcome from the beginning. The breakfast was super tasty with many varieties of both hot and cold dishes and deserts. The beds were big and comfortable, we all slept and rested every night we were there. Before booking the hotel, we read some complaints that 2h in spa is too little, but we found it was enough for the facilities that exist in the spa. We mostly used saunas, salt room and relax area and enjoyed a lot. The hotel has great location, but having the car is to best option to explore around - Brdo park, Kranj, Ljubljana... Everything is up to 30 min drive. We were skiing in Krvavec mountain every day and drive to the gondola every day, it took 15 min.
All in all, we highly recommend this hotel!

Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and...
Small town with a lot of historical buildings to see and stories to hear, also the tunnels built in the 2nd world war. There is beautiful nature in (rivers Kokra and Sava) and around it that you can visit.
I was there two years in a row in September and each time we had a shorter option of a guided tour. Only the tunnels were the same, other parts of tour were totally different - in a small city!

Beautiful small Old World Town.
Beautiful small Old World Town. Off the normal tourist path, so not crowded! Charming. Easy to walk around. Local pub had live music! Stayed just one night (before our flight) - could easily have stayed longer if our schedule had permitted.

Kranj is perfectly positioned city.
Kranj is perfectly positioned city. It is very close to highway, it is close to mountains (25min from ski resort) and is only 2h drive from the sea.
It has beautiful old town.
The capital, Ljubljana is only 30min drive.

Beautiful town, especially historical part of the city. It's interesting how historical town is surrounded by two rivers, and it makes a green oasis in the middle of the town. Food is amazing, special recommendation for Gostilna Kot for local food and Das ist Walter for bosnian cuisine.
The location of the city is perfect for exploring Slovenia.

I have visited Slovenija many times, but for some reason I...
I have visited Slovenija many times, but for some reason I missed Kranj. What a lovely little old city, that houses many artists, poets, painter, writers, etc. I hope to return post-Covid when I can experience their musical performances, art exhibits etc. Kranj is a unknown little gem. One or two days should be spent there.

The owners were very nice and polite I especially enjoyed chatting with their father even with the language barrier. There are alot of things near by (Baker, deli ,a few restaurants and supermarket)etc.
If I ever come back to slovenia this will always be my preferred place to stay.
This very nice hotel is located directly in the center of Kranj in a very old historic building. My room was upgraded without further cost and included a Jacuzzi.
Breakfast very good, staff very kind. Will book again when in Kranj!
Perfect view from the hill above Kranj. In the first weekend of August where it is impossible to find reasonably priced hotel, this one, on the excellent location, is more than reasonable. Treat for my dog at the checkout!
The location is very central to some of Slovenia’s main attractions. It is very quiet and beautiful to wake up in this apartment. There is a parking right infront of the apartment too. The hosts were great too!
Beautifully clean, great facilities including free to use bikes. Amazing location with lots of local walks and centrally located for the popular sights of Slovenia.
